Abstract

Media pembelajaran mampu menarik minat dan memberikan daya tarik kepada siswa untuk lebih bersemangat dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran juga mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi kepada siswa. Hal ini dipacu oleh beberapa aspek media pembelajaran yang digunakan, beberapa diantaranya adalah ceramah, presentasi, buku LKS, dan video pembelajaran. Tetapi sekolah belum menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Padahal, dari hasil survey yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti sebanyak 86,7% siswa menyatakan tertarik dengan media pembelajaran berbasis android. Dengan memberikan animasi interaktif yang ditampilkan dalam media berbasis Android, pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar sehingga siswa akan tetap aktif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alternatif media pembelajaran dengan merancang dan membangun sebuah aplikasi berbasis android materi sistem konversi bilangan serta menguji kelayakan aplikasi tersebut. Dengan menggunakan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang dilakukan melalui beberapa proses perancangan meliputi konsep, desain, pengumpulan materi, pembuatan, pengujian dan distribusi. Inti dari aplikasi sistem konversi bilangan ini adalah materi, video pembelajaran, dan kuis seputar sistem konversi bilangan yang dapat diakses melalui perangkat android. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi materi, media dan uji responden yang dilakukan oleh 30 siswa kelas X aplikasi ini masuk kedalam kategori “Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan di SMKN 11 Bandung. -------- Learning media can attract interest and attract students to be more enthusiastic in carrying out learning. Learning media also makes it easier for teachers to convey material to students. This is driven by several aspects of the learning media used, some of which are lectures, presentations, worksheets, and learning videos. But schools have not used Android-based learning media in the process of implementing learning. In fact, from the results of a survey conducted by researchers, as many as 86.7% of students stated that they were interested in Android-based learning media. By providing interactive animations that are displayed in Android-based media, this learning can increase student motivation in learning so that students will remain active in participating in the learning process. This study aims to create alternative learning media by designing and building an android-based application for number conversion system materials and testing the feasibility of the application. By using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) is carried out through several design processes including concept, design, material collection, manufacture, testing, and distribution. The core of this number conversion system application is material, learning videos, and quizzes about number conversion systems that can be accessed through android devices. Based on the results of the material, media, and respondent validation tests conducted by 30 students of class X this application is included in the "Very Eligible" category for use at SMKN 11 Bandung.
