Abstract

Skripsi ini memiliki judul “Pemanfaatan aplikasi digital learning Edpuzzle dalam pembelajaran sejarah pada kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Cimahi (Studi Deskriptif tentang Pemahaman Materi Siswa pada Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Cimahi)”. Pemahaman materi merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Namun ketika ditemukannya suatu permasalahan minimnya pemahaman materi siswa, maka dengan demikian guru harus segera menemukan solusi yang tepat. Dalam permasalahan ini guru memberikan solusi dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi digital learning Edpuzzle. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberhasilan dari solusi yang guru pilih dengan melihat peningkatan pemahaman materi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desktriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah alasan yang diungkapkan oleh guru terkait pemanfaatan aplikasi ini memiliki respon yang positif. Sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya pun terlihat bahwa telah adanya peningkatan pada pemahaman materi siswa yang berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang mulai membaik. Selain itu, siswa juga menjadi lebih aktif selama pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan pada skripsi ini, dapat disusun suatu simpulan bahwa siswa telah menunjukkan suatu keadaan di mana mereka menjadi lebih tertarik untuk belajar sejarah dan memahami materi yang telah dipelajari. Peneliti menyertakan skripsi ini dengan beberapa rekomendasi yang diajukan kepada beberapa pihak, di antaranya kepada kepala SMA Negeri 3 Cimahi, kepada guru sejarah, dan kepada peneliti selanjutnya. : This thesis has the title "Utilization of Edpuzzle digital learning application in learning history in class XI at SMA Negeri 3 Cimahi (Descriptive Study of Student Material Understanding in Class XI at SMA Negeri 3 Cimahi)". Understanding of material However, when a problem is found in the lack of understanding of student material, then the teacher must immediately find the right solution. In this problem, the teacher provides a solution by utilizing learning media in the form of digital learning application Edpuzzle. The purpose of this study was to determine the success of the solution that the teacher chose by looking at the increase in students' understanding of the material. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. The result of this study is the reason expressed by the teacher regarding the utilization of this application has a positive response. So that in its implementation, it can be seen that there has been an increase in students' understanding of the material which has an impact on student learning outcomes which are starting to improve. In addition, students also become more active during learning. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been described in this thesis, it can be concluded that students have shown a situation where they become more interested in learning history and understanding the material that has been learned. The researcher included this thesis with several recommendations that were submitted to several parties, including to the head of SMA Negeri 3 Cimahi, to history teachers, and to further researchers.
