Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangin berdasarkan hasil observasi, bahwa terlihat sikap toleransi belum dilakukan oleh siswa di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni Untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran sikap toleransi melalui media powtoon dalam pembelajaran IPS dan mengetahui hasil peningkatan sikap toleransi melalui media powtoon dalam pembelajaran IPS. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakn metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi . Analisis data dilakukan peneliti untuk mengetahui hasil dari teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan. Analisis data menggunakan 4 aktivitas yakni pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian tindakan menggunakan pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II yang meliputi perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi tindakan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan pada psiklus yaitu hasil observasi penilaian siswa yang dilakukan pada pra siklus peneliti mendapatkan hasil sebesar 5,92 atau 14, 81%, pada siklus I hasil observasi penilaian siswa mendapatkan hasil 9,96 atau 44,44%, kemudian hasil observasi penilaian siswa yang dilakukan pada siklus II peneliti mendapatkan hasil sebesar 3,18 dengan nilai rata-rata yang didapatkan sebesar 11,96 atau 77,77%. Oleh karena itu peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa media powtoon dapat meningkatkan sikap toleransi siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial tentang bentu keragaman budaya kelas IV SDN Dalung 1. Kata Kunci: Media Powtoon, Sikap Toleransi The background of this research is based on the results of observations, that it appears that tolerance has not been practiced by students in elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of learning tolerance through powtoon media in social studies learning and to find out the results of increasing tolerance through powtoon media in social studies learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using classroom action research methods. The data analysis techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by researchers to find out the results of the data collection techniques applied. Data analysis uses 4 activities namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. In action research using pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II which includes action planning, action implementation, action observation and reflection. The results of the study were found in psychics, namely the results of observations of student assessments carried out in the pre-cycle of the researcher getting results of 5.92 or 14.81%, in cycle I the results of observation of student assessments obtained results of 9.96 or 44.44%, then the results of observational assessments students who were carried out in cycle II the researcher got a result of 3.18 with an average value obtained of 11.96 or 77.77%. Therefore the researchers concluded that powtoon media can increase students' tolerance in the Social Sciences subject about the form of cultural diversity in grade IV SDN Dalung 1.
