Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks biantara. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks biantara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW), serta mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Sunda untuk meningkatkan minat belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dalam pembelajaran menulis teks biantara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, kepada siswa kelas IX-I SMP Negeri 19 Bandung dengan menggunakan desain pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, rata-rata sebelum menggunakan model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) yaitu berada dalam kategori belum tuntas. Sedangkan rata-rata sesudah menggunakan model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) yaitu berada dalam kategori tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistika nilai signifikansi, yaitu adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan nulis teks biantara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW). Kesimpulannya bahwa model pembelajaran Think-Talk-Write (TTW) efektif untuk kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran nulis teks biantara di SMP. Kata Kunci: Model Think-Talk-Write (TTW), Menulis Teks Biantara This research is motivated by the lack of students' ability to write biantara texts. The purpose of this study was to describe students' ability to write biantara texts before and after using the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model, as well as knowing the effectiveness of learning Sundanese to increase interest in learning using the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model in learning to write biantara texts. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental method, for class IX-I students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandung using pretest and posttest designs. Based on the results of this study, the average before using the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) model was in the incomplete category. While the average after using the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) model is in the complete category. Based on the statistical test results, the significance value is that there is a significant difference between the ability to write bilingual texts before and after using the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model. The conclusion is that the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model can improve students' abilities in learning to write biantara texts in junior high school.
