Abstract

Sesuai kajian latar belakang penelitian, maka pada penelitian ini rumusan masalahnya yaitu “Bagaimanakah pengaruh kinerja manajemen kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru terhadap mutu layanan pembelajaran?”. Dari rumusan masalah tersebut dirumuskan masalah penelitian yang lebih spesifik lagi sebagai berikut : 1) Seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja manajemen kepala sekolah terhadap mutu layanan pembelajaran ?, 2) Seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja guru terhadap mutu layanan pembelajaran ?, 3) Seberapa besar pengaruh kinerja manajemen kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap mutu layanan pembelajaran ?, 4) Adakah korelasi antara kinerja manajemen kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru ?. Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis pengaruh kinerja manjemen kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru terhadap mutu layanan pembelajaran di SMAN berstandar nasional (SSN) di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan kabupaten Indramayu. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif analitik, penelitian ini dirancang untuk menguji hipotesis dan mendeskripsikan kata dan data atau kecenderungan yang saling mempengaruhi atas sejumlah variabel, serta melakukan analisis dan prediksi tentang apa yang harus dilakukan untuk mencapai keadaan yang akan datang. Kinerja manajemen kepala sekolah (X1) dan kinerja guru (X2) secara simultan terhadap mutu layanan pembelajaran (Y) tergolong cukup kuat. Sedangkan kontribusi secara bersama-sama variabel X1 dan X2 terhadap Y = 34,45% sedangkan sisanya 65,55% ditentukan oleh sebab-sebab lain. Kemudian mengenai besar kecilnya mutu layanan pembelajaran dapat diprediksi melalui persamaan regresi %4; = a + bx1 + b2x2 = 21,397 + 0,188 X1 + 0,284 X2 , korelasi antara variabel kinerja manajemen kepala sekolah (X1) terhadap mutu layanan pembelajaran (Y) adalah 0,471. Sedangkan besarnya sumbangan (kontribusi) variabel X1 terhadap Y adalah 22,18% dan sisanya sebesar 77,82% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Pengaruh antara kinerja guru dengan mutu layanan pembelajaran sebesar 0,465, sedangkan besarnya kontribusi variabel X2 terhadap Y adalah 21,62%, dan sisanya sebesar 78,38% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Hubungan antara kinerja manajemen kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru adalah 0,272 , sedangkan besarnya kontribusi variabel X1 terhadap X2 adalah sebesar 07,39%, dan sisanya sebesar 92,61% dipengaruhi oleh sebab-sebab lain. Kepala sekolah harus mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan kemampuan manajerialnya dan guru harus dapat mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan kinerjanya dalam upaya memberikan pelayanan pembelajaran yang berkualitas, efektif dan efesien. The formulated problem in this research is "How can the headmaster managerial performance and teacher performance influence to the quality of learning service?" From this problem, it can be formulated more specifically that; 1) How big the headmaster's managerial performance can affect the learning service quality? 2) How big the teacher's performance can affect the quality of service quality? 3.) How big headmaster managerial performance and teacher's performance can affect to the quality of learning service? 4). Is there a correlation between the headmaster managerial performance with the teacher's performance?. Generally the purpose of this research is to reveal and analyze the influence of headmaster managerial performance and teacher's performance to the quality of learning service in National Standard state senior high school in the environment of Indramayu Regency. The design of this research is analytical descriptive research, this research is arranged to examine hypothesis and to describe words and data or the tendency which affect each other to some certain variable, and to do the analysis and prediction about what must be done to achieve the condition in the future. The performance of headmaster performance (XI) and teacher performance (X2) gives a strong enough influence to the quality of learning service. Whereas the simultaneous contribution of variable XI and X2 to Y= 34,45% as the rest is 65,55% is determined by the other cause. Then to know how big the quality of learning service can be predicted by using the regression formula that is %4; = a + bx1 + b2x2 = 21,397+0,188X1 +0,284X2, The correlation between the variable of headmaster managerial performance (XI) to the quality of learning service (Y) is 0,471, and this is regarded as the strong enough influence. Meanwhile the contributed value of the variable Xl to Y is 22,18% and the rest is 77,82% is affected by other variable. The influence between teacher performance with the quality of learning service is 0,465 and this is regarded as strong enough influence. Whereas the contribution of the variable X2 to Y is 21,62% and the rest is 78,38% and this is affected by other variable. The relation between headmaster managerial performance with the teachers performance is 0,272 and this is regarded low enough, whereas the contribution of variable X1 to X2 is 07,39% and the rest is 92,61 and this is affected by other cause. The headmaster must be aware to improve his or her managerial ability and the teachers must be able to maintain their performance, even they are suggested to improve their performance in the effort of giving the qualified, effective, and efficient learning service.
