Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa di kelas V sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah pada kemampuan koneksi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa di sekolah dasar. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini yakni noneequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, angket, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa dibandingkan dengan model Konvensional. This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematical connection and self-efficacy of fifth grade students of elementary school. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement using Problem-Based Learning model the mathematical connection ability and self-efficacy of students in elementary schools. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The design of this research is the non-equivalent control group design. The instruments used in this study were tests, questionnaires, documentation and field notes. The results of this study indicate that the Problem-Based Learning model is more influential in improving students mathematical connection skills and self-efficacy compared to the Konvensional model.
