Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi telah mengubah perilaku pencarian informasi seseorang. Keberadaan website telah mempermudah proses pencarian informasi karena bentuknya yang beraneka ragam serta dapat dengan mudah diakses di internet. Beberapa website museum dikembangkan sebagai bentuk pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai sebuah sistem yang mengumpulkan informasi-informasi mengenai museum itu sendiri. Namun pada kenyataannya, masih ada beberapa museum yang belum bahkan tidak memiliki website seperti halnya pada salah satu museum yang berada dibawah naungan UPTD Pengelolaan Kebudayaan Daerah Jawa Barat yaitu Museum Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat Jawa Barat.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan website di Museum Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat Jawa Barat yang dilakukan untuk membantu pengelolaan informasi pada Museum Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat Jawa Barat Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development juga menggunakan adaptasi dari metode rekayasa perangkat lunak yaitu model waterfall.. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 60 pengunjung museum dan dua orang ahli, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari angket online. Skala yang digunakan yaitu skala Likert yang dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriftif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa produk yang dirancang dianggap sudah sangat baik karena dapat menyajikan informasi yang diperlukan oleh pengunjung mengenai Museum Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat Jawa Barat. Dilihat dari perolehan nilai rata-rata yang diberikan oleh praktisi web sangat baik, ahli museum sangat baik, dan pengunjung sangat baik. Kata Kunci: Website, Informasi, Museum The development of technology and communication has changed a person's information-seeking behavior. A website has facilitated the process of finding information because of its various forms and can be easily accessed on the internet. Several museum websites were developed to utilize technology to collect information about the museum itself. However, in reality, there are still several museums that do not even have a website, as is the case with one of the museums under the auspices of the West Java Regional Cultural Management UPTD, namely the West Java People's Struggle Monument Museum. This research aims to develop a website at the Java People's Struggle Monument Museum. West which was carried out to help manage information at the West Java People's Struggle Monument Museum. The method in this study used the Design and Development method and also used an adaptation of the software engineering method, namely the waterfall model. Participants in this study were 60 museum visitors and two experts, while data collection techniques were obtained from online questionnaires. The scale used is the Likert scale which is analyzed using a descriptive method. The study results show that the designed product is excellent because it can present the information needed by visitors about the West Java People's Struggle Monument Museum. Judging from the acquisition, the average value given by web practitioners is excellent, museum experts are excellent, and visitors are excellent. Keywords: Website, Information, Museum
