Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh beberapa lembaga menyatakan bahwa tingkat literasi minat baca di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut partisipasi orang tua dan kreativitas guru menjadi cara yang paling tepat dalam meningkatkan literasi minat baca pada anak sekolah dasar. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi berupa foto maupun video. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 orang tua murid, guru selaku wali kelas dan kepala SDN Petukangan Utara 01 Jakarta Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Gambaran umum bentuk kegiatan partisipasi orang tua dan kreativitas guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Petukangan Utara 01 Jakarta Selatan secara keseluruhan menunjukan kategori baik hanya belum maksimal dikarenakan belum semua komponen peningkatan literasi dasar minat baca terpenuhi. Adapun hasil analisis bentuk kegiatan partisipasi orang tua dan kreativitas guru dalam meningkatkan minat baca secara khusus sudah menunjukan kategori baik meskipun ada beberapa kompetensi yang belum terpenuhi. Selanjutnya hasil analisis strategi partisipasi orang tua dan kreativitas guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Petukangan Utara 01 secara khusus sudah sebagian besar dilakukan oleh para orang tua siswa sedangkan kreativitas guru masih perlu diupayakan lebih baik lagi karena belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal.; This research is motivated by the results of research conducted by several institutions stating that the level of literacy in reading interest in Indonesia is still relatively low. Based on this the involvement of parents and teacher creativity is the most appropriate way to improve literacy in reading interest in primary school children. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The instruments used were observation, interviews and documentation in the form of photos and videos. Respondents in this study consisted of 10 parents of students, the teacher as the homeroom teacher and the head of SDN Petukangan Utara 01 South Jakarta. The results of this study are a general description of the activities of parent participation and creativity of teachers in the Petukangan Utara 01 South Jakarta Elementary School as a whole, indicating that the good category is not yet optimal because not all of the basic literacy components have been fulfilled. The results of the analysis of the forms of parent participation and teacher creativity in increasing reading interest in particular have shown good categories even though there are some competencies that have not yet been fulfilled. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of parent participation strategies and teacher creativity in the Petukangan Utara Elementary School 01 in particular have been largely carried out by parents of students while the creativity of teachers still needs to be pursued even better because it has not been implemented optimally.
