Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran saat tatap muka terbatas di SMAN 1 Lembang pada mata pelajaran geografi menghadapi permasalahan. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mode Blended Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Variabel penelitian ini ialah Mode Blended Learning dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis yaitu memberikan penjelasan sederhana (Elementary Clarification), Membangun keterampilan dasar (Basic Support), Menyimpulkan (Inference), Memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut (advanced Clarification), Menyusun strategi dan taktik (Strategy and Tactics). Subjek penelitian ini ialah kelas Fase F1 Geografi dan F2 Geografi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan insturmen keterampilan berpikir kritis. Data dianalisis dengan hasil hitungan persentase, uji normlitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis (Mann Whitney non parametrik). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : 1. Pelaksanaan mode Blended Learning keterlaksanaan pembelajaran masuk kedalam kategori baik atau 76% - 86% peserta didik mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran, 2. Keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen menunjukan kategori sedang dengan skor 0.5 dan kelas kontrol menunjukan kategori sedang dengan skor 0.4 sehingga mengalami peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, 3. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan metode Mann Whitney non parametrik, didapatkan nilai signifikasi 0,311 yang berarti > 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik antara peserta didik dikelas kontrol dan dikelas eksperimen. Dengan demikian, mode Blended Learning mempunyai pengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran geografi. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Mode Blended Learning. Learning activities during face-to-face are limited at SMAN 1 Lembang on geography subjects to face problems. The problem that occurs is the low critical thinking skills of students. This study aims to determine the effect of Blended Learning on critical thinking skills. The research method uses an experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The variables of this research are Blended Learning and critical thinking skills. Indicators of critical thinking skills are providing simple explanations (Elementary Clarification), Building basic skills (Basic Support), Concluding (Inference), Providing further explanation (advanced Clarification), Developing strategies and tactics (Strategy and Tactics). The subject of this research is the class F1 Geography and F2 Geography. The data collection instrument used observation sheets and critical thinking skills instruments. The data were analyzed with the results of the percentage count, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing (Mann Whitney non parametric). The results showed that: 1. The implementation of Blended Learning implementation of learning was in the good category or 76% - 86% of students participated in learning activities, 2. Critical thinking skills in the experimental class showed a moderate category with a score of 0.5 and the control class showed a moderate category with score 0.4 so that there is an increase in critical thinking skills, 3. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with the Mann Whitney , obtained a significance value of 0.311 which means > 0.05 so H1 is accepted, meaning that there are differences in students' critical thinking skills between students who learn to use Blended Learning mode with students who learn using conventional models.
