Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan indikator yang sangat penting untuk menilai mutu pendidikan suatu negara, terutama untuk menentukan keberhasilan siswa dalam proses belajarnya guna menciptakan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Teori Pemrosesan Informasi Robert M. Gagne dengan menganalisis pengaruh tingkat konsep diri terhadap tingkat hasil belajar melalui mediator tingkat motivasi berprestasi dengan tingkat dukungan sosial orang tua sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia yang tercermin pada hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Serang pada mata pelajaran ekonomi yang masih rendah. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (i) Tingkat konsep diri (X) berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat hasil belajar (Y) (ii) Tingkat konsep diri (X) berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat hasil belajar (Y) melalui tingkat motivasi berprestasi (M) (iii) Tingkat dukungan sosial orang tua (Z) secara positif memperkuat pengaruh tingkat konsep diri (X) terhadap tingkat hasil belajar (Y) (iv) Tingkat dukungan sosial orang tua (Z) secara positif memperkuat pengaruh tingkat motivasi berprestasi (M) terhadap tingkat hasil belajar (Y) (v) Tingkat dukungan sosial orang tua (Z) secara positif memperkuat pengaruh tingkat konsep diri (X) terhadap tingkat motivasi berprestasi (M). Learning outcomes are a very important indicator to assess the quality of a country's education, especially to determine the success of students in the learning process in order to create quality Human Resources (HR). This purpose of this research was to test Robert M. Gagne's Theory of Information Processing by analyzing the influence of self-concept levels on the level of learning outcomes through a mediator of the level of achievement motivation to excel with the level of parental social support as a moderator variable. This research was motivated by the low quality of education in Indonesia which was reflected in the learning outcomes of class XI social studies students of State High Schools in Serang Regency in economic subjects that were still low. This research used correlational quantitative research methods. The results of this research showed that: (i) The level of self-concept (X) positively affected the level of learning outcomes (Y) (ii) The level of self-concept (X) positively affected the level of learning outcomes (Y) through the level of motivation to achieve (M) (iii) The level of social support of parents (Z) positively strengthened the influence of the level of self-concept (X) on the level of learning outcomes (Y) (iv) The level of social support of parents (Z) positively strengthened the level of parental social support (Z) the influence of the level of motivation to achieve (M) on the level of learning outcomes (Y) (v) The level of social support of parents (Z) positively strengthened the influence of the level of self-concept (X) on the level of motivation to achieve (M).
