Abstract

Mobilitas commuter merupakan salah satu fenomena geografi yang dilakukan secara harian, pada umumnya dilakukan oleh penduduk pedesaan menuju perkotaan demi menunjang kebutuhan sehari-hari dengan mempertimbangkan keputusan rasional setiap individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik mobilisan commuter, proses mobilitas commuter, dan sosial ekonomi mobilisan commuter. Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mobilisan dari 8 desa yang telah ditentukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis persentase. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa karakteristik mobilisan commuter dilihat berdasarkan usia didominasi oleh usia 36-45 tahun berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan berstatus kawin (sudah menikah). Karakteristik mobilitas commuter berdasarkan lokasi tujuan kegiatan, Kota Bandung termasuk pada pilihan dominan mobilitas commuter dengan persentase 73%, rata rata jarak yang ditempuh setiap satu kali jalan yaitu lebih dari 10 Km dengan rentang waktu tempuh kurang dari 1 jam dengan moda transportasi motor pribadi, biaya transportasi yang dikeluarkan untuk setiap minggunya sebesar Rp 100.000 – 150.000. Kondisi sosial ekonomi mobilisan dilihat dari orientasi pendidikan 40% berpenddikan SMA/Sederajat. Sebagian besar mobilisan memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai karyawan swasta, dengan pendapatan lebih dari Rp 3.800.000 per bulan angka tersebut sudah lebih besar dari UMK kota tujuan. Hampir seluruh mobilisan menyisihkan pendapatan untuk ditabung yang digunakan sebagai tabungan pendidikan anak dan dana darurat. Mayoritas mobilisan setidaknya mempunya satu rumah dengan status kemepilikan pribadi dan memiliki kendaraan bermotor serta elektronik guna memunjang kehidupan sehari-hari. Commuters mobility is a geographical phenomenon that is carried out on a daily basis, generally carried out by rural residents to urban areas to support their daily needs by considering the rational decisions of each individual. This study aims to determine the characteristics of characteristics commuters movement, the process of commuters mobility, and the socio-economic . Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. The sample in this research is commuters movement from 8 villages that have been determined using methods purposive sampling and snowball sampling. This research method uses a descriptive method through a survey with a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is percentage analysis. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of mobility commuter based on age are dominated by the age of 36-45 years, male and married status (already married). Characteristics of mobility commuter based on the location of the activity destination, the City of Bandung is included in the dominant choice of commuters mobility with a percentage of 73%, the average distance traveled each way is more than 10 Km with a travel time of less than 1 hour with private motorbike transportation modes, costs transportation costs incurred for each week are IDR 100,000 – 150,000. The socio-economic condition of the mobilized is seen from the educational orientation of 40% with a high school education/equivalent. Most of the commuters movement have a livelihood as a employees, with an income of more than IDR 3,800,000 a month, this figure is already higher than the UMK of the destination city. Almost all commuters movement set aside income for savings which are used as savings for children's education and emergency funds. The majority of commuters movement have at least one house with private ownership status and have a motorized vehicle and electronics to support their daily life
