Abstract
ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Osteoporosis merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular pada skeletal sistemik yang sering terjadi pada lansia. Penyakit tersebut dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup lansia. Akan tetapi, pengetahuan terkait pencegahan osteoporosis masih rendah pada lansia padahal pengetahuan tersebut bermanfaat bagi kemungkinan terjadinya penyakit osteoporosis. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara ilmiah peningkatan pengetahuan lansia mengenai pencegahan osteoporosis melalui pemberian pendidikan kesehatan dengan media audio visual. Metode: Penelitian ini mengguanakan penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi penelitian case study. Subjek penelitian dalam studi kasus ini adalah dua pasien, metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi, studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dari instrumen untuk mengukur pengetahuan pencegahan osteoporosis yang telah lulus di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya yaitu sebesar 0,3902- 0,9298 dan reliabilitas alpha Cronbach 0,6216, Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan pada studi kasus adalah kuesioner penilaian pengetahuan mengenai edukasi pencegahan osteoporosis, kuesioner terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan, penetapan nilai pengetahuan dituliskan berdasarkan total skor benar yang diperoleh. Jawaban yang benar diberi nilai 1, jika jawaban yang salah diberi nilai 0, skor tertinggi adalah 20 dan skor terendah adalah 0. Hasil: penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pencegahan osteoporosis pada lansia yang mendapatkan edukasi pencegahan osteoporosis. Pada data penelitian didapatkan pada Ny.A mendapatkan skor sangat cukup dengan jawaban benar 17 dan Tn.U mendapatkan skor cukup dengan jawaban benar 15. Kesimpulan: hasil Intervensi edukasi pencegahan osteoporosis dengan audio visual efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan pada dua pasien lansia terkait pencegahan osteoporosis didapatkan data pengetahuan cukup dan sangat cukup. Saran: Diharapkan pasien dapat menjaga kesehatannya dan dapat mengaplikasikannya edukasi pencegahan osteo kedalam kehidupan sehari-hari. ABSTRACT Background: Osteoporosis is one of the non-communicable systemic skeletal diseases that often occurs in the elderly. This disease can reduce the quality of life of the elderly. However, knowledge related to osteoporosis prevention is still low in the elderly even though this knowledge is beneficial for the possibility of osteoporosis. Objective: This study aims to scientifically prove the increase in knowledge of the elderly regarding osteoporosis prevention through the provision of health education with audio-visual media. Methods: This study uses qualitative research with a case study research strategy. The research subjects in this case study were two patients, the data collection methods were using questionnaires, interviews and observations, and documentation studies. This study was conducted using a questionnaire from the instrument to measure knowledge of osteoporosis prevention that has passed the validity and reliability test, which is 0.3902-0.9298 and Cronbach's alpha reliability is 0.6216. The research instrument used in the case study is a questionnaire to assess knowledge about osteoporosis prevention education, a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions, the determination of the value of knowledge is written based on the total correct score obtained. The correct answer is given a value of 1, if the wrong answer is given a value of 0, the highest score is 20 and the lowest score is 0. Results: This study showed that there was an increase in knowledge of osteoporosis prevention in the elderly who received osteoporosis prevention education. In the research data, it was found that Mrs. A got a very sufficient score with a correct answer of 17 and Mr. U got a sufficient score with a correct answer of 15. Conclusion: The results of the osteoporosis prevention education intervention with audio visual were effective in increasing knowledge in two elderly patients related to osteoporosis prevention. knowledge is sufficient and very sufficient. Suggestion: It is expected that patients can maintain their health and can apply osteo prevention education to their daily lives.
