Abstract

ABSTRAK Sarah Fidelia Salsabil (1505798). Hubungan Kemampuan Regulasi Emosi dan Kelekatan Kawan Sebaya dengan Kompetensi Sosial Remaja di Kota Bandung. Skripsi. Departemen Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung. (2022). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan regulasi emosi dan kelekatan kawan sebaya dengan kompetensi sosial remaja di kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 300 remaja berusia 15-19 tahun. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah quota sampling yang ditentukan berdasarakan populasi dan jenis kelamin remaja di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga instrumen yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia yaitu Adolescents’ Social Competence Scale (ASCS) untuk mengukur kompetensi sosial, Inventory of Peer and Parent Attachment (IPPA) untuk mengukur kelekatan kawan sebaya, dan Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS) untuk mengukur kemampuan regulasi emosi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasional sederhana dan analisis korelasional berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan regulasi emosi dan kelekatan kawan sebaya dengan kompetensi sosial remaja di Kota Bandung. This study aims to examine the relation between emotional regulation skill and peer attachment with social competence in adolescents in Bandung City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational model consisting of 300 adolescents within the range of 15 to 19 years old in Bandung City. The sampling technique used in this research is quota sampling determined based on the population and gender of the adolescents. The instruments in this study were Adolescents’ Social Competence Scale (ASCS) to measure social competence, Inventory of Peer and Parent Attachment (IPPA) to measure peer atttachment, and Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS) to measure emotional regulation skill. The data analysis technique in this study were simple correlation and multiple correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously there is a significant relationship between the emotional regulation skill and peer attachment with the social competence of adolescents in the city of Bandung.
