Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial dan harga diri terhadap subjective well-being siswa SMA di kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan responden berjumlah 455. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah Student Social Support Scale dari Nolten (1994) yang diadaptasi oleh Malecki dan Elliott (1999) untuk mengukur dukungan sosial orang tua dan teman sebaya, The Three Esteem Dimensions yang disusun oleh Stets dan Burke (2014) yang dimodifikasi oleh Adiba (2020) untuk mengukur harga diri, Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) dan Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Adzhani (2019) untuk mengukur subjective well-being. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan dukungan sosial dan harga diri terhadap subjective well-being; 2) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap subjective well-being; 3) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap subjective well-being; 4) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan harga diri terhadap subjective well-being. Kata kunci: dukungan sosial, harga diri, siswa SMA, subjective well-being. The author used a quantitative method with 455 high school student in Bandung who serve as the respondents of this research. The instruments in this study include Student Social Support Scale by Nolten (1994) modified by Malecki and Elliott (1999) to measure the social support of parents and peers, The Three Esteem Dimensions compiled by Stets and Burke (2014) modified by Adiba (2020) to measure self-esteem, the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) which have been modified by Adzhani (2019) to measure subjective well-being. The data analysis technique used is linear regression and multiple regression. This research found that: 1) There is a significant effect of social support and self-esteem on subjective well-being; 2) There is a significant effect of parental social support on subjective well-being; 3) There is a significant effect of peer social support on subjective well-being; 4) There is a significant effect of self-esteem on subjective well-being.
