Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa pendidikan jasmani pada anak usia dini dalam penerapannya masih memerlukan peranan guru dalam mengimplementasikannya. Guru pendidikan anak usia dini harus dapat mengeksplor wawasannya dalam segala bidang termasuk pada pendidikan jasmani, namun dalam hal ini guru masih memiliki perspektif bahwa pendidikan jasmani memerlukan guru yang berkompeten. Maka peran guru dalam penerapan pendidikan jasmani pada anak usia dini memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam menerapkan serta mempersiapkan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam penerapan pendidikan jasmani pada anak usia dini. Metode pendekatan kualitatif dan desain penelitian studi kasus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang guru penanggungjawab pendidikan jasmani di TK yang berlokasi di Kota Bandung dan Kabupaten Bandung Barat.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan tematik. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa guru memahami definisi, manfaat, dan tujuan pendidikan jasmani bagi anak usia dini. Penerapan pendidikan jasmani melalui olahraga seperti sepak bola, basket, sircuit training, trampolin, dan senam irama; aktivitas fisik seperti berlarian, melompat, perosotan, berjalan, dan permainan tradisional. Terdapat perbedaan sarana prasarana kegiatan Pendidikan jasmani pada kedua sekolah karena perbedaan biaya masuk sekolah tersebut. Kendala yang ditemukan antara lain anak yang enggan mengikuti kegiatan serta kurangnya sarana dan prasarana. Dalam mengatasi kendala, guru memiliki program teaching information sebagai media konsultasi orang tua, guru lebih kreatif membuat media untuk kegiatan pendidikan jasmani yang dibuat secara handmade atau memanfaatkan bahan-bahan yang ada di sekitar sekolah. Peneliti merekomendasikan bagi peneliti selanjutnya dengan menggunakan tema yang sama,namun menggunakan metode atau jumlah sampel yang berbeda. The background of this research is that physical education in early childhood in its application still requires the role of the teacher in implementing it. Early childhood education teachers must be able to explore their insights in all fields including physical education, but in this case the teacher still has the perspective that physical education requires competent teachers. So the role of the teacher in the application of physical education in early childhood has a very important role in implementing and preparing. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of teachers in the implementation of physical education in early childhood. Qualitative approach method and case study research design. The participants in this study were two teachers in charge of physical education in kindergartens located in Bandung City and West Bandung Regency. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis using thematic. The results of the study found that teachers understand the definition, benefits, and objectives of physical education for early childhood. Implementation of physical education through sports such as football, basketball, circuit training, trampolines, and rhythmic gymnastics; physical activities such as running, jumping, slides, walking, and traditional games. There are differences in the infrastructure for physical education activities in the two schools because of the difference in the cost of entering the school. Obstacles found include children who are reluctant to participate in activities and the lack of facilities and infrastructure. In overcoming obstacles, teachers have a teaching information program as a media for parent consultation, teachers are more creative in making media for physical education activities that are made by hand or using materials around the school. The researcher recommends for further researchers to use the same theme, but use a different method or number of samples.
