Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari intellectual capital terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh dengan jumlah 24 perusahaan sektor kesehatan pada masa pandemi COVID-19 yaitu pada tahun 2020-2021. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan periode 2020-2021 pada masing-masing perusahaan sektor kesehatan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 3. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa (1) Intellectual capital berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan; (2) Intellectual capital tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan; (3) Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan; (4) Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dalam memediasi pengaruh intellectual capital terhadap nilai perusahaan. This study objective to determine the effect of intellectual capital on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable. The sampling method used is saturation sampling with 24 healthcare companies during the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020-2021. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the annual report for the 2020-2021 period for each healthcare company. The analytical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The test results show that (1) Intellectual capital has a positive effect on company profitability; (2) Intellectual capital does not have effect on firm value; (3) Profitability has a positive effect on firm value; (4) Profitability has a positive effect in mediating the influence of intellectual capital on firm value.
