Abstract
Website pada saat ini menjadi salah satu media yang mempermudah perusahaan
dalam mempromosikan produk serta mempermudah konsumen dalam melakukan
transaksi secara online terutama pada website hotel. Dengan semakin berkembangnya
industri perhotelan dan semakin banyaknya pengguna website hal ini mengakibatkan
perlunya peningkatan dan evaluasi terhadap website hotel. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengevaluasi tingkat usability, functionality dan security and privacy pada
website The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini
menggunakan Mix Method dengan mengacu pada concurrent triangulation designs.
Adapun pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi pada website,
wawancara kepada tiga ahli website dan melakukan survey terhadap 105 responden
pengguna website. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada website The Trans
Luxury Hotel secara kuantitatif menunjukan nilai yang rendah dengan nilai 44,6% pada
dimensi functionality dan secara kualitatif dinilai masih rendah pada usability website.
Langkah peningkatan kualitas website yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengubah
tampilan pada website, menambahkan ringkasan keseluruhan informasi pada landing
page, serta memperbaiki sistem transaksi pada website.
Website is currently one of the media that makes companies and customer easier to
promote products and doing online transactions, especially on hotel websites. With the
development of the hospitality industry and the increasing number of website users,
this has resulted in the need for improvement and evaluation of hotel websites. This
study aims to evaluate the level of usability, functionality and security and privacy on
the website of The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. The method used in this study uses
the Mix Method with reference to concurrent triangulation designs. The data collection
was carried out by conducting observations on the website, interviewing three website
experts and conducting a survey of 105 respondents who used the website. The results
of this study indicate that on the website The Trans Luxury Hotel quantitatively shows
a low value with a value of 44.6% on the functionality dimension and qualitatively it is
still considered low on the usability of the website. Steps to improve website quality
that can be done are changing the appearance on the website, adding a summary of
the overall information on the landing page, and improving the transaction system on
the website.
