Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada tahun 2030 konsumsi pakaian dunia diprediksi akan meningkat dari 62 juta ton menjadi 102 juta ton. Hal tersebut akan berpengaruh buruk bagi lingkungan karena akan terdapat banyak limbah pakaian dan pencemaran air. Prediksi tersebut sejalan dengan limbah pakaian yang terus meningkat di mana pada tahun 2015 terdapat 11,9 juta ton pakaian dan alas kaki yang dibuang. Selain itu, hal tersebut didukung dengan remaja yang menjadi pelaku utama dalam perilaku konsumtif fashion, bersamaan dengan hal tersebut terdapat kemungkinan mengenai peningkatan konsumsi produk fashion. Karenanya untuk membuat pencegahan mengenai membludaknya limbah pakaian dan pencemaran air, perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai tingkat konsumsi produk fashion. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode statistika inferensial, dapat ditemukan bahwa e-commerce shopee berpengaruh terhadap tingkat konsumsi produk fashion remaja di kota Bandung. Jika hal tersebut tidak ditanggapi dengan serius maka prediksi mengenai konsumsi pakaian yang meningkat dan bertambahnya limbah pakaian serta pencemaran air akan terjadi. Untuk itu diperlukan adanya sosialisasi mengenai perilaku konsumtif dan konsumsi pakaian yang dapat meningkatkan limbah pakaian dan mencemari lingkungan. This will adversely affect the environment because there will be a lot of clothing waste and water pollution. This prediction is in line with clothing waste that continues to increase where in 2015 there were 11.9 million tons of discarded clothing and footwear. In addition, this is supported by teenagers who are the main actors in fashion consumptive behavior, along with this there is a possibility of increasing consumption of fashion products. Therefore, to prevent the proliferation of clothing waste and water pollution, it is necessary to conduct research on the level of consumption of fashion products. By using a quantitative approach and inferential statistical methods, it can be found that e-commerce shopee has an effect on the level of consumption of teenage fashion products in the city of Bandung. If this is not taken seriously, predictions of increased clothing consumption and increased clothing waste and water pollution will occur. For this reason, it is necessary to socialize consumptive behavior and clothing consumption that can increase clothing waste and pollute the environment.
