Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya penggunaan bahasa yang kasar dan tidak pantas oleh masyarakat dalam Instagram. Penggunaan bahasa yang kasar dan tidak pantas tersebut atau dikenal dengan istilah disfemia merupakan bentuk protes dan penolakan masyarakat mengenai pengesahan Omnibus Law di Indonesia pada Kamis, 08 Oktober 2020. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik meneliti pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berdasarkan teori Leech dalam tuturan disfemia pada unggahan video tanggal 09 Oktober 2020 di akun Instagram @Jokowi tentang klarifikasi Omnibus Law dengan kajian pragmatik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan (1) pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berdasarkan tuturan disfemia pada unggahan video tentang pengesahan Omnibus Law di akun Instagram @Jokowi; dan (2) faktor penyebab pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berdasarkan tuturan disfemia pada unggahan video tentang pengesahan Omnibus Law di akun Instagram @Jokowi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa jenis pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang dominan adalah maksim kebijaksanaan sebanyak 76% dan faktor penyebab pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang paling dominan adalah dorongan emosi sebanyak 72%. Kata kunci: Prinsip Kesantunan, Disfemia, Pragmatik, Instagram This research was motivated by the discovery of the use of abusive and inappropriate language by the public on Instagram. The use of such rude and inappropriate language or known as dysphemia is a form of protest and rejection by the public regarding the ratification of the Omnibus Law in Indonesia on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining violations of politeness principles based on Leech's theory in dysphemia speech in uploads. video dated October 9, 2020 on the @Jokowi Instagram account about the clarification of the Omnibus Law with a pragmatic study. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) violations of politeness principles based on dysphemia speech in video uploads about the ratification of the Omnibus Law on the @Jokowi Instagram account; and (2) the factors causing the violation of politeness principles based on dysphemia speech in video uploads about the ratification of the Omnibus Law on the @Jokowi Instagram account. The results of this study found that the dominant type of violation of the principle of politeness is the maxim of wisdom as much as 76% and the most dominant factor causing the violation of the principle of politeness is emotional impulse as much as 72%.
