Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul Pengembangan Media Pelatihan Kemampuan Menyimak Intensif Berbasis Software Smart Apps Creator Untuk Siswa SMP Kelas VIII. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum tersedianya aplikasi pelatihan kemampuan menyimak intensif berbasis android di SMP kelas VIII. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi pelatihan kemampuan menyimak siswa SMP kelas VIII dalam Kompetensi Dasar menyimpulkan Teks berita. Adapun tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Membuat perencanaan pengembangan aplikasi pelatihan kemampuan menyimak intensif berbasis android (2) mengembangkan aplikasi pelatihan kemampuan menyimak intensif siswa SMP Kelas VIII; (3) menguji kelayakan aplikasi pelatihan kemampuan menyimak intensif yang akan dikembangkan sebagai pelatihan mengukur kemampuan menyimak intensif siswa. Metode dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini yaitu menggunakan R&D Borg and Gall yang disederhanakan oleh Sukmadinata. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu berupa angket yang diberikan kepada ahli media, dan angket tanggapan siswa dengan skala likert. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa aplikasi pelatihan kemampuan menyimak intensif berbasis android. Hasil dari penilaian ahli media memperoleh nilai 4.64 yang dapat dikategorikan “sangat baik” (SB). Selanjutnya, untuk hasil tanggapan siswa memperoleh nilai 4.40 yang dapat dikategorikan “sangat baik” (SB) dengan demikian aplikasi pelatihan kemampuan menyimak intensif ini layak digunakan. Kata kunci: Android, Menyimak intensif, Pengembangan ABSTRACT This research is entitled Development of Intensive Listening Ability Training Media Based on Smart Apps Creator Software for Class VIII Junior High School Students. This research is motivated by the unavailability of an Android-based intensive listening skill training application in class VIII SMP. The purpose of this study is to develop an application for listening skills training for VIII grade junior high school students in the Basic Competence of concluding news texts. The specific objectives of this research are: (1) Planning the development of an Android-based intensive listening skill training application (2) developing an intensive listening ability training application for Class VIII Junior High School students; (3) testing the feasibility of the application of intensive listening skills training which will be developed as a training to measure students' intensive listening skills. The method in developing this application is to use R&D Borg and Gall which is simplified by Sukmadinata. Data collection techniques in this study were in the form of a questionnaire given to media experts, and a student response questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results of this study are in the form of an Android-based intensive listening ability training application. The results of the media expert's assessment obtained a score of 4.64 which can be categorized as "very good" (SB). Furthermore, for the results of the students' responses, they got a score of 4.40 which can be categorized as "very good" (SB) so that the application of intensive listening skills training is feasible to use.
