Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa selama pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian melibatkan 428 mahasiswa aktif UPI Bumi Siliwangi angkatan 2019 jenjang S1, dari 8 fakultas dengan rentang usia 19 – 23 tahun. Responden mengisi kuesioner Dukungan Sosial Keluarga yang diadaptasi oleh peneliti serta kuesioner Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) yang dimodifikasi oleh peneliti. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu non probability sampling dengan incidental sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 21.0 for windows untuk mengetahui kontribusi dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa selama pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi dari dukungan sosial keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa UPI Bumi Siliwangi angkatan 2019 jenjang S1 selama pembelajaran jarak jauh sebesar 6,9%. Dukungan sosial keluarga yang dirasakan mahasiswa dan motivasi belajar yang dimiliki mahasiswa cenderung tinggi yaitu sebesar 90,7% dan 99,1%. Dukungan yang diberikan oleh keluarga berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa selama perkuliahan jarak jauh. This study aims to determine the contribution of family social support to students' learning motivation during distance learning. This study involved 428 active students of UPI Bumi Siliwangi batch 2019 undergraduate level, from 8 faculties with an age range of 19 – 23 years. Respondents filled out the Family Social support questionnaire which was adapted by the researcher and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) questionnaire which was modified by the researcher. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with incidental sampling. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 21.0 for windows to determine the contribution of family social support to students' learning motivation during distance learning. The results showed that the contribution of family social support to the learning motivation of UPI Bumi Siliwangi students for the 2019 undergraduate level during distance learning was 6.9%. The family social support felt by the students and the student's learning motivation tended to be high, namely 90.7% and 99.1%, respectively. The support provided by the family increases in increasing students' learning motivation during distance lectures.
