Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya ecoliteracy siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan audio visual dalam meningkatkan aspek pengetahuan dan sikap ecoliteracy siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan nonequivalent pre-test post-test control grup design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 20 siswa dan siswa kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan kuisioner. Tes dan kuisioner dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu pre-tes sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan post-tes setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan audio visual lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan aspek pengetahuan dan aspek sikap ecoliteracy siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai signifikansi n-gain model project based learning berbantuan audio visual lebih besar dibandingkan dengan model konvensional, karena dengan model project based learning ini siswa belajar bekerjasama dengan teman kelompoknya untuk mengolah sampah plastik menjadi suatu barang yang dapat bermanfaat sehingga pembelajaran menjadi bermakna. Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning, Audio Visual, Ecoliteracy. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low ecoliteracy of students in elementary schools. This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning model with audio-visual aids in improving the knowledge and ecoliteracy aspects of elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The study design used a nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. The samples of this study were students of class VA as the experimental class, which consisted of 20 students and students of class VB as the control class, which amounted to 20 students. The instruments used in this study were tests and questionnaires. Tests and questionnaires were carried out in two stages, namely pre-test before being given treatment and post-test after treatment. The results showed that the project-based learning model assisted by audio-visual was more influential in improving the knowledge and ecoliteracy aspects of students' attitudes compared to conventional learning models. This is evidenced by the significance value of the n-gain model of project-based learning assisted by audio-visual aids which is greater than the conventional model, because with this project-based learning model students learn to work together with their group mates to process plastic waste into useful items so that learning becomes meaningful.
