Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana prinsip desain sekolah kejuruan ramah anak, mendeskripsikan kondisi arsitektural sarana dan prasarana SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta, dan menjelaskan bagaimana kesesuaiannya berdasar pada prinsip desain sekolah kejuruan ramah anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dalam bentuk lembar penilaian, dan teknik dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh melalui observasi akan dianalisis kesesuaiannya dan dihitung untuk memperoleh persentase kesesuaian sebagai kesimpulan penelitian. Objek dari penelitian ini yaitu sarana dan prasarana SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta pada kelompok ruang pembelajaran umum, ruang pembelajaran penunjang, dan ruang pembelajaran khusus bidang keahlian teknik konstruksi dan properti. Prinsip desain terkait sekolah kejuruan ramah anak berdasar pada hasil analisis melalui Panduan SRA (Kementerian PPPA, 2015), CFS Manual (UNICEF, 2009), Permendiknas RI No. 40 Tahun 2008, serta Norma & Standar Laboratorium/ Bengkel SMK Kompetensi kealhian DPIB dan BKP (2021). Hasil akhir pada penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa kondisi arsitektural sarana dan prasarana SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta sudah sesuai dengan prinsip desain sekolah kejuruan ramah anak yang meliputi persyaratan keselamatan, kesehatan, kenyamanan, kemudahan, dan keamanan, dengan jumlah persentase sebesar 74,5%. Kesesuaian terbaik berada pada persyaratan keamanan. Sementara untuk kesesuaian yang masih bernilai kurang yaitu pada persyaratan kemudahan dan kenyamanan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the design principles of child-friendly vocational schools, represent the architectural conditions of the facilities and infrastructure of SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta, and explain how their suitability is based on the design principles of child-friendly vocational schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. Data collection techniques use observation techniques in the form of assessment, and documentation. The data obtained through observation will be analyzed and calculated to obtain the proportion as the conclusion of this research. The object of this research is the facilities and infrastructure of SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta in the group of general learning rooms, supporting learning rooms, and specific learning rooms in the field of construction and property engineering expertise. The design principles related to child-friendly vocational schools are based on the results of the analysis through the Panduan SRA (Kementerian PPPA, 2015), CFS Manual (UNICEF, 2009), Permendiknas RI No. 40 Tahun 2008, serta Norma & Standar Laboratorium/ Bengkel SMK Kompetensi kealhian DPIB dan BKP (2021). The final result of this research explains that the architectural conditions of the facilities and infrastructure of SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta with a total percentage of 74.5% are suitable with the design principles of child-friendly vocational schools which include safety, health, comfort, convenience, and security requirements. The best fit lies in security requirements. Meanwhile, the suitability that is still of less value, lies in convenience and comfort requirements.
