Abstract

Pendidikan pada era digital berkembang sangat pesat, kemajuan di bidang teknologi tak hanya dinikmati oleh orang dewasa, namun anak-anak usia sekolah dasar juga. Teknologi digital saat kini sudah mulai digunakan di dalam lembaga pendidikan sebagai sarana untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, baik sebagai alat informasi atau sebagai alat pembelajaran. Sejak adanya pandemi Covid-19 memberikan efek yang luar biasa, khusunya dalam pendidikan yang mengharuskan peserta didik untuk belajar menggunakan media digital seperti gadget atau gawai, maka akan memberikan dampak terhadap karakter moral peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak media digital terhadap karakter moral (pengetahuan moral, perasaan moral, dan tindakan moral) siswa kelas V sekolah dasar dan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam mengatasi dampak media digital terhadap karakter moral siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif, yang mengambil lokasi di SD Negeri Permata Biru Kabupaten Bandung dengan partisipan 15 siswa dan 3 Guru Kelas V, yaitu Bu Adestipa guru kelas V A, Bu Fani guru kelas V B, dan Bu Dita guru V C. Berdasarkan analisis data, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini berpacu pada karakter moral menurut Lickona mengenai pengetahuan moral, perasaan moral dan tindakan moral, serta nilai karakter sesuai Peraturan Presiden Nomor 87 Tahun 2017, yaitu menyatakan bahwa terdapat dampak positif dan negatif media digital terhadap karakter moral siswa kelas V yaitu berdampak pada nilai karakter (1) religius; dalam hal disiplin beribadah, (2) nasionalis; dalam hal cinta tanah air, semangat kebangsaan, (3) mandiri; dalam hal mandiri dan disiplin, (4) gotong royong; dalam hal kerja sama dan kekeluargaan, dan (5) integritas; dalam hal kejujuran dan tanggung jawab. Upaya guru dalam mengatasi dampak media digital terhadap karakter moral siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Permata Biru yaitu guru mengarahkan, mengontrol, dan membimbing siswa dalam berperilaku sehari-hari, guru memberikan contoh moral yang baik kepada siswa, guru mengarahkan siswa terkait moral yang baik dan buruk, mengontrol dan membimbing siswa dalam berperilaku, serta bekerja sama dengan orang tua dan masyarakat untuk menumbuhkan karakter moral siswa. ----- Education in the digital era is developing very rapidly, progress in the field of technology is not only enjoyed by adults, but elementary school age children as well. Digital technology has now begun to be used in educational institutions as a means to support the learning process, both as an information tool or as a learning tool. Since the pandemic Covid-19 has an extraordinary effect, especially in education that requires students to learn to use digital media such as gadgets or devices, it will have an impact on the moral character of students. This study aims to determine the impact of digital media on moral character (moral knowledge, moral feeling, and moral action) of elementary school fifth grade students and to find out the teacher's efforts in overcoming the impact of digital media on the moral character of grade V students of elementary school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, which takes location in SD Negeri Permata Biru Bandung Regency with the participant of 15 students and 3 Class V Teachers, namely Mrs. Adestipa class V B teacher, Mrs. Fani, class V B teacher, and Mrs. Dita class V C teacher. Based on data analysis, the conclusions of this study are racing against moral character according to Lickona regarding moral knowledge, moral feelings and moral actions, as well as character values according to Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2017, namely stating that there are positive and negative impacts of digital media on the moral character of class students V namely impacting the character values (1) religious; In terms of worship discipline, (2) nationalist; In terms of love for the motherland, the spirit of nationality, (3) independent; In terms of independent and disciplined, (4) mutual cooperation; In terms of cooperation and kinship, and (5) integrity; In terms of honesty and responsibility. The teacher's efforts in overcoming the impact of digital media on the moral character of class V students in class V students, namely the teacher directing, controlling, and guiding students in daily behaviors, the teacher gives good moral examples to students, the teacher directs students related to good and bad morals, controlling and guiding students in behaving, as well as working with parents and the community to foster student moral character.
