Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perubahan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada masa pandemi Covid-19, dari pembelajaran konvensional kini berubah menjadi pembelajaran yang mengkolaborasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dan online yang dikenal sebagai model pembelajaran blended learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi blended learning pada mata pelajaran IPS melalui google classroom di SMP Negeri 2 Banjaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dalam bentuk uraian naratif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah analisis data dalam penelitian ini ialah dengan melakukan reduksi data, triangulasi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam perencanaan blended learning sudah cukup baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan guru sudah membuat perangkat pembelajaran dan bahan ajar untuk blended learning, dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru menggunakan google classroom sebagai ruang kelas bagi guru dan siswa selama pembelajaran online. Penilaian pembelajaran blended learning meliputi penilaian sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan yang diamati pada pembelajaran tatap muka dan online. Kendala dalam penerapan model blended learning melalui google classroom yaitu keterbatasan dalam jaringan, kouta maupun dalam hal kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa. Adapun upaya untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut guru membantu siswa membuat akun belajar dan memberikan apresiasi dalam bentuk emoticon untuk menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini ialah implementasi blended learning pada mata pelajaran IPS melalui google classroom di SMP Negeri 2 Banjaran sudah berjalan sesuai dengan sintaks blended learning, walaupun masih terdapat beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaannya, kendala tersebut masih dapat teratasi oleh guru maupun siswa. Kata kunci : Blended learning, Google classroom, Mata Pelajaran IPS This research is motivated by changes in the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, from conventional learning to learning that collaborates face- to-face and online learning, known as the blended learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of blended learning in social studies subjects through google classroom at SMP Negeri 2 Banjaran. This study uses a descriptive approach in the form of a narrative description. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and documentation study. The steps of data analysis in this research are data reduction, data triangulation, data presentation, and conclusions. The results obtained in this study indicate that the planning of blended learning is quite good. This is shown by the teacher having made learning tools and learning materials for blended learning, in learning the teacher uses google classroom as a classroom for teachers and students during online learning. The assessment of blended learning includes the assessment of attitudes, knowledge, and skills observed in face-to-face and online learning. Constraints in implementing the blended learning model through google classroom are limitations in the network, quotas and in terms of lack of student motivation. As for efforts to overcome these obstacles, the teacher helps students create learning accounts and gives appreciation in the form of emoticons to foster student enthusiasm for learning. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the implementation of blended learning in social studies subjects through google classroom at SMP Negeri 2 Banjaran has been running according to the blended learning syntax, although there are still some obstacles in its implementation, it can still be overcome by teachers and students.
