Abstract

Perkembangan wisata di Kawasan Wisata Alam Tebing Keraton saat ini menunjukkan kemajuan yang cukup pesat ditandai dengan peningkatan jumlah wisatawan yang datang. Peningkatan jumlah wisatawan dikhawatirkan melebihi daya dukung yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap kondisi fisik lingkungan dan kepuasan pengunjung di KWA Tebing Keraton. Konsep pengelolaan KWA Tebing Keraton perlu menyesuaikan kondisi yang ada terkait daya dukung lingkungan wisata agar dapat mewujudkan pengembangan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis daya dukung dan merumuskan konsep pengembangan pariwisata alam yang berkelanjutan di KWA Tebing Keraton. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dapat menguraikan atau memaparkan beberapa hasil dari pengumpulan, pengolahan, dan penyimpulan data penelitian. Intrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi,wawancara, angket, studi literatur, dan dokumentasi. Melalui perhitungan dan analisis daya dukung lingkungan wisata diperoleh hasil bahwa rata-rata jumlah pengunjung yang datang ke KWA Tebing Keraton masih dapat menampung wisatawan dengan segala aktivitasnya dengan baik sebesar 680 pengunjung/hari. Dengan memperhatikan daya dukung yang ada dan hasil wawacara dengan ahli, penulis merumuskan enam konsep pengembangan pariwisata alam berkelanjutan yang dapat diterapkan di KWA Tebing Keraton diantaranya 1) Mitigasi Bencana, 2) Penyediaan tiket berdasarkan kapasitas daya dukung yang ada, 3) Survei pengamatan intensif, 4) Menjadikan Tebing Keraton menjadi wisata minat khusus, 5) Penataan ulang sarana dan prasarana, dan 6) Menerapkan durasi kunjungan. The development of tourism in Tebing Keraton Natural Tourism Area is currently showing quite rapid growth, marked by the increasing number of tourist. The increasing number of tourists is worried to exceed the carrying capacity which can affect the physical condition of the environment and visitor satisfaction at KWA Tebing Keraton. The management concept of KWA Tebing Keraton needs to adjust the existing conditions related to the carrying capacity of the tourism environment in order to realize sustainable tourism development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the carrying capacity and formulate the concept of sustainable natural tourism development in KWATebing Keraton. This study uses a qualitative method that can describe or describe some of the results of the collection, processing, and conclusion of research data. Data collection instruments and techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature studies, and documentation. Through the calculation and analysis of the carrying capacity of the tourism environment, the results show that the average number of visitors who come to the KWA Tebing Keraton can still accommodate tourists with all their activities properly at 680 visitors/day. Taking into account the existing carrying capacity, the author formulates six concepts of sustainable natural tourism development that can be applied in KWA Tebing Keraton including 1) Mitigation plan, 2) Provision of tickets based on the existing carrying capacity, 3) Intensive observation surveys, 4) Turning the Keraton Cliffs into special interest tourism, 5) Rearrangement of facilities and infrastructure, and 6) Implementing the duration of the visit.
