Abstract

ABSTRAK Jurnal ini merupakan hasil penelitian skripsi mengenai efektivitas penerapan teknik clap hands untuk meminimalisir kesalahan membaca ritmik dalam lagu-lagu wajib nasional pada tingkatan SMP (Sekolah Menengah Pertama). SMP Negeri 52 Bandung, menjadi lokasi yang dipilih oleh peneliti untuk dilakukannya penelitian ini. Hal yang melatarbelakangi peneliti untuk mengambil judul penelitian ini, peneliti telah mengamati bahwa siswa banyak sekali yang kesulitan menyanyikan lagu-lagu wajib nasional dengan ritmik yang baik dan benar ketika peneliti sebelumnya mengamati guru seni budaya saat mengajar. Faktor kesulitan yang dialami siswa, terjawab dari hasil wawancara yang peneliti jabarkan di Bab IV di mana siswa kebanyakan tidak hafal lagu wajib yang tidak sering dinyanyikan, cenderung meniru tanpa mengetahui ritmik yang baik dan benar, serta kurangnya waktu yang cukup jika pembelajaran harus difokuskan hanya pada pembelajaran seni musik. Dikarenakan sekolah yang menjadi lokasi penelitian merupakan sekolah umum dan bukan sekolah khusus kejuruan, maka waktu berlatih mempelajari ritmik secara mendalam sangat kurang. Efektivitas dan dampak positif mengenai penerapan teknik clap hands terjawab di Bab IV ketika peneliti melakukan penelitian di lima kelas yang berbeda. Peneliti memasukkan hasil pre test dan hasil post test ketika siswa menyanyikan lagu wajib sebelum dibantu dengan teknik clap hands dan sesudah dibantu dengan teknik clap hands. Hasil menujukkan bahwa terlihat dampak positif dan kesalahan siswa dapat diminimalisir ketika menyanyikan lagu-lagu wajib nasional, sehingga teknik clap hands cukup efektif membantu siswa memperbaiki kesalahan pembacaan ritmik. Kata Kunci:Clap Hands, Ritmik, Penerapan ABSTRACT This journal is the result of a thesis research on the effectiveness of the application of the clap hands technique to minimize rhythmic reading errors in national compulsory songs at the junior high school level. SMP Negeri 52 Bandung, became the location chosen by the researchers for this research. The reason behind the researcher to take the title of this research, the researcher has observed that many students have difficulty singing the national obligatory songs with good and correct rhythms when the previous researcher observed cultural arts teachers while teaching. The difficulty factor experienced by students was answered from the results of the interviews that the researchers described in Chapter IV where most students did not memorize the compulsory songs that were not often sung, tended to imitate without knowing the proper and correct rhythms, as well as the lack of sufficient time if learning had to be focused only on music learning. Because the school that is the research location is a public school and not a special vocational school, there is very little time to practice studying rhythmic in depth. The effectiveness and positive impact of the application of the hands clap technique was answered in Chapter IV when the researcher conducted the study in five different classes. The researcher entered the results of the pre-test and post-test results when students sang the compulsory song before being assisted by the hands-clap technique and after being assisted by the hands-clap technique. The results show that there is a positive impact and student errors can be minimized when singing the national compulsory songs, so the clap hands technique is quite effective in helping students correct rhythmic reading errors.
