Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan profil motivasi belajar pada siswa aktif organisasi yang didasarkan pada teori motivasi yang dikembangkan oleh Ryan dan Deci yaitu Self-Determination Theory (SDT). Motivasi belajar pada siswa memiliki peranan yang penting bagi aktivitas belajar siswa, karena dapat memunculkan perilaku-perilaku positif dalam belajar. Sampel pada penelitian adalah siswa pengurus OSIS SMA, SMK, dan MA di Kecamatan Jatiluhur Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Pertimbangan penulis memilih siswa pengurus OSIS untuk mewakili siswa aktif organisasi adalah karena OSIS merupakan organisasi resmi di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi deskriptif, yaitu bertujuan untuk menyajikan gambaran mengenai motivasi belajar pada siswa pengurus OSIS. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian survei dengan pengambilan data sampel menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan mengenai profil motivasi belajar siswa pengurus OSIS SMA, SMK, dan MA di Kecamatan Jatiluhur Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022, memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 95.95 yang termasuk ke dalam kategori identification, artinya motivasi belajar siswa pengurus OSIS masih mengandalkan motivasi ekstrinsik, meskipun demikian motivasi ekstrinsik pada kategori identification sudah terinternalisasi, siswa secara sadar mengalami keinginan untuk belajar karena adanya kepentingan personal. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa rancangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang bertujuan membantu motivasi belajar pada siswa aktif organisasi yang dapat dijadikan referensi bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Learning motivation in students has an important role for student learning activities, because it can bring up positive behaviors in learning. The sample in this study was student council for SMA, SMK, and MA in Jatiluhur District for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The author's consideration of choosing student council to represent active students in the organization is because OSIS is an official organization in schools. The method used in this research is a descriptive study, which aims to present an overview of learning motivation for student council. The study used a survey research design with sample data collection using a questionnaire. Based on the results of research that has been carried out regarding the learning motivation profile of student council for SMA, SMK, and MA in Jatiluhur District for the 2021/2022 academic year, obtaining an average score of 95.95 which is included in the identification category, meaning that student learning motivation of student council still relies on extrinsic motivation, although extrinsic motivation in the identification category has been internalized, students consciously experience the desire to learn because of their personal interests. The results of this study in the form of a guidance and counseling service design that aims to help learning motivation in active students in organization that can be used as references for guidance and counseling teachers in schools.
