Abstract
Ikan sidat merupakan salah satu spesies ikan karnivora yang dikenal kaya akan protein, lemak, vitamin, dan mineral sehingga banyak dibudidayakan di berbagai negara. Pada umumnya, pakan sidat budidaya mengandung tepung ikan sebagai sumber utama protein. Di tengah kelangkaan dan mahalnya tepung ikan, daun kelor yang memiliki kandungan protein tinggi dapat digunakan untuk mengganti sebagian tepung ikan dalam pakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi lingkungan budidaya ikan sidat Anguilla bicolor bicolor yang diamati berdasarkan parameter-parameter kimia, dan mengetahui harga konstanta laju pertumbuhan, specific growth rate (SGR), serta feed conversion ratio (FCR) dari ikan sidat Anguilla bicolor bicolor yang diberi pakan daun kelor. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat pakan dengan variasi komposisi daun kelor 0% (kontrol), 4%, 6%, 8% dan 10% yang diujicobakan masing-masing terhadap 10 ekor ikan sidat Anguilla bicolor bicolor selama 64 hari. Kondisi lingkungan yang diamati berdasarkan parameter TDS, suhu, pH, DO, dan nitrat memenuhi Baku Mutu Kelas II berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No.82 Tahun 2001, sedangkan parameter nitrit tidak memenuhi Baku Mutu Kelas II berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No.82 Tahun 2001. Kondisi TDS, suhu, pH, DO, nitrat dan nitrit yang optimal dalam penelitian ini masing-masing sebesar 171,6±7,92 mg/L, 26,9±1,16oC, 7,9±0,16, 6,5±0,30 mg/L, 0,3±0,44 mg/L, dan 1,0±1,46 mg/L. Penambahan daun kelor pada pakan tidak meningkatkan harga konstanta laju pertumbuhan, SGR, dan FCR. Eel is one of the carnivorous fish species which is known to be rich in protein, fat, vitamins, and minerals, so it is widely cultivated in various countries. In general, cultured eel feed contains fish meal as the main protein source. In the midst of the scarcity and high cost of fish meal, Moringa leaves which have a high protein content can be used to replace some of the fish meal in the feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the environmental conditions of the observed Anguilla bicolor bicolor eel based on chemical parameters, and to determine the value of the growth rate constant, specific growth rate (SGR), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) of the Anguilla bicolor bicolor eel which given Moringa leaf feed. The research was conducted by making feed with variations in the composition of Moringa leaves 0% (control), 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% which were tested on 10 Anguilla bicolor bicolor eels respectively for 64 days. The observed environmental conditions based on the parameters of TDS, temperature, pH, DO, and nitrate met the Class II Quality Standards based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001, while the nitrite parameters did not meet the Class II Quality Standards based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001. The optimal conditions of TDS, temperature, pH, DO, nitrate and nitrite in this study were 171.6±7.92 mg/L, 26.9±1.16oC, 7.9±0.16, 6.5±0.30 mg/L, 0.3±0.44 mg/L, and 1.0±1.46 mg/L. The addition of Moringa leaves to feed did not increase the value of the growth rate constant, SGR, and FCR.
