Abstract

PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN DENGAN MEDIA E-BOOK DAN PENERAPAN STRATEGI EMRED Gregorius Wisnu Nugroho Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Kampus Daerah Serang, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Tujuan di laksanakannya penelitian ini yaitu siswa dapat mengalami peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia sebagai pengaruh media e-book dengan strategi EMRED. Tujuan di lakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperbaiki nilai kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sindangmandi dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di karenakan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa yang masih rendah. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan analisis pada tahap pra siklus di peroleh nilai rata-rata kelas 64,7 dengan presentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa 44%. Pada tahap siklus I dengan menerapkan media e-book dengan strategi EMRED di peroleh nilai rata-rata kelas 65,5 dengan presentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa 51,8% akan tetapi hasil dari siklus I ini belum mencapai indikator ketuntasan dalam penelitian ini oleh sebab itu peneliti melanjutkan ke tahap siklus II. Pada siklus II dengan menerapkan media e-book dan strategi EMRED juga di peroleh nilai rata-rata kelas 71,8 dengan presentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa 67%. Dari hasil penilaian pada tahap siklus II indikator keberhasilan ini telah tercapai dengan nilai rata-rata kelas >70 (KKM) dan presentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa 56%-70% (Cukup). Berdasarkan hasil diatas peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan penggunaan media e-book dengan strategi EMRED dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sindangmandi. The purpose of this study is to improve the value of reading comprehension ability of grade IV students of SD Negeri Sindangmandi in Indonesian subjects due to students low reading comprehension ability. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The instruments used in this study are observation, tests and documentation. Based on the results of observations and analysis at the pre-cycle stage, the grade average score was obtained 64.7 with a percentage of classical completion of students 44%. In the first cycle stage by applying e-book media with the EMRED strategy, the average grade score was obtained 65.5 with a percentage of classical completion of students of 51.8% but the results of this first cycle have not reached the completeness indicator in this study, therefore researchers proceeded to the second cycle stage. In cycle II by applying e-book media and EMRED strategies, the average grade score of 71.8 was also obtained with a percentage of students' classical completion of 67%. From the results of the assessment in cycle II stage, these success indicators have been achieved with an average grade score of >70 (KKM) and a percentage of students' classical completion of 56%-70% (Sufficient). Based on the results above, the researcher concluded that learning with the use of e-book media with the EMRED strategy can improve the ability to read comprehension in grade IV students of SD Negeri Sindangmandi.
