Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembaharuan evaluasi sistem pendidikan di Indonesia yang telah diganti dari Ujian Nasional menjadi Asesmen Nasional. Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum adalah bagian dari Asesmen Nasional yang baru dilaksanakan pertama pada tahun 2021, dengan adanya pembaharuan pada sistem evaluasi di Indonesia, maka peneliti tertarik dengan bagaimana persepsi siswa terhadap program tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa sekolah dasar khususnya siswa kelas lima di SDN Sindangrasa Kota Tasikmalaya terhadap Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan atau verfikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah siswa umumnya memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap AKM literasi membaca dan memiliki persepsi kurang baik terhadap literasi matematika (numerasi), untuk persepsi siswa pada aspek konten dan proses kognititf pada AKM numerasi dianggap kurang baik, hal tersebut menandakan bahwa kurangnya kompetensi siswa dalam bilangan, pengukuran dan geometri, data dan ketidakpastian, serta aljabar, dan kurangnya kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa di ranah kognitif dalam pemahaman, penerapan, dan penalaran. This research is motivated by the renewal of the evaluation of the education system in Indonesia which has been changed from the National Examination to the National Assessment. The Minimum of Competency Assessment is part of the National Assessment which will only be implemented for the first time in 2021, with the renewal of the evaluation system in Indonesia, researchers are interested in how students perceive the program. This study aims to describe the perceptions of elementary school students, especially fifth grade students at SDN Sindangrasa Tasikmalaya City on the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, conclusions or data verification. The results of this study are students generally have a positive perception of the AKM reading literacy and have a poor perception of mathematical literacy (numbering), for students' perceptions of the aspects of content and cognitive processes in the numeracy AKM are considered less good, this indicates that the lack of student competence in numbers, measurement and geometry, data and uncertainty, and algebra, and the students' lack of cognitive abilities in understanding, applying, and reasoning.
