Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kesehatan mental bagi peserta didik khususnya pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Ditemukannya peserta didik yang mengalami kecemasan, gangguan sosial, dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri serta memiliki latar belakang sosial ekonomi keluarga yang rendah menunjukkan salah satu dari gejala masalah kesehatan mental. Berdasarkan gejala yang ditemukan, penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh profil kesehatan mental dan analisis perbedaan kesehatan mental peserta didik berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi keluarga kelas XI di MA Nurul Huda Setu Tahun Ajaran 2020/2022 serta merumuskan rancangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif. Populasi penelitian melibatkan partisipan sebanyak 45 peserta didik dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen The Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-FS) melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan profil kesehatan mental peserta didik di Kelas XI MA Nurul Huda Setu Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 berada pada kategori sedang dan status sosial ekonomi keluaga berada pada kategori rendah, namun tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan kesehatan mental berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi keluarga peserta didik kelas XI MA Nurul Huda Setu Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. The background of research was based on the importance of mental health for students, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The finding of students who experience anxiety, social disorders, and lack of self-confidence with a low socioeconomic family background shows one of the symptoms of mental health problems. Based on the symptoms found, the study aims to obtain mental health profiles and analyze differences in the mental health based on the socioeconomic status of class XI families at MA Nurul Huda Setu for the 2020/2022 academic year and to formulate a guidance and counseling service design to improve the mental health. The research method is comparative descriptive. The study population involved 45 students with the sampling technique used was a saturated sample. Data was collected using The Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-FS) instrument via google form. The results showed that the mental health profile of students in Class XI was in the medium category and the socioeconomic status was in the low category, but there was no significant difference of mental health based on the socioeconomic status of the family students of class XI MA Nurul Huda Setu for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
