Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis keterampilan menulis teks narasi dengan metode mind mapping tema liburan di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 1 Kalangsari, Kota Tasikmalaya. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu hasil tulisan narasi peserta didik kelas V. Analisis yang dilakukan ditinjau dari 3 aspek, yaitu: aspek isi, struktur teks dan aspek kebahasaan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Tes yang dilakukan adalah penugasan menulis teks narasi tema liburan dengan metode mind mapping. Penugasan dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali dengan jenis penugasan yang sama namun redaksi dari tugas tersebut yang berbeda. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan keterampilan menulis teks narasi dengan menggunakan metode mind mapping di kelas V SDN 1 Kalangsari mendapatkan kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata 12,7. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of narrative text writing skills using the holiday theme mind mapping method in elementary schools. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Kalangsari, Tasikmalaya City. The research procedure was carried out through three stages, namely: planning, implementation, and reporting. The data source used is the result of the narrative writing of class V students. The analysis is carried out in terms of 3 aspects, namely: content aspects, text structure and linguistic aspects. Data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. The test carried out was an assignment to write a holiday theme narrative text using the mind mapping method. The assignment was carried out 3 times with the same type of assignment but the editors of the assignment were different. From the results of the research that has been done, it is found that the skills of writing narrative texts using the mind mapping method in class V SDN 1 Kalangsari get a very good category with an average score of 12.7.
