Abstract

Kontrol diri sangat penting pada masa remaja, dikarenakan menjadi kunci dalam mengekspresikan eksistensi remaja. Kontrol diri berkaitan dengan cara individu mengendalikan emosi serta dorongan-dorongan yang terdapat dalam dirinya. Fenomena di sekolah masih ditemukan rendahnya kontrol diri siswa, seperti perilaku menyimpang, sering menunda-nunda pekerjaan dan melanggar peraturan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian gambaran kontrol diri belajar siswa Kelas XI pada masa pandemi di SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas Banten Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Metode studi deskriptif serta sampel jenuh sebanyak 394 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner hasil adaptasi dari instrumen Self- Control Scale (SCS) yang dikembangkan oleh Tangney, Baumeister dan Boone (2004). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: secara umum siswa berada pada kategori kontrol diri sedang, siswa mampu untuk mengontrol dirinya dalam belajar di masa pandemi, terdapat implikasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri belajar siswa. Kata kunci: kontrol diri, layanan bimbingan dan konseling, siswa. Self-control is very important in adolescence, because it is the key in expressing the existence of adolescents. Self-control is related to the way individuals control their emotions and impulses. The phenomenon in schools is still found in students' low self- control, such as deviant behavior, often procrastinating on work and violating school rules. The purpose of this research is to describe the self-control learning of Class XI students during the pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas Banten in the 2021/2022 academic year. Descriptive study method and a saturated sample of 394 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire adapted from the Self-Control Scale (SCS) instrument developed by Tangney, Baumeister and Boone (2004). The results showed: in general students were in the category of moderate self-control, students were able to control themselves in learning during the pandemic, there were implications for guidance and counseling services to improve student self-control in learning.
