Abstract

LITERASI DIGITAL SKILLS SISWA KELAS V SDN 4 MANGGUNGJAYA ABSTRAK Di era millennial ini, media merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di kalangan anak sekolah dasar. Penggunaan perangkat digital siswa harus diiringi dengan literasi digital khususnya digital skills atau kemampuan individu dalam mengetahui, memahami, dan menggunakan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak TIK serta sistem operasi digital. Dilihat dari sudut pandang pendidikan siswa sekolah dasar ini merupakan peran yang penting dalam menggunakan perangkat digital untuk proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi digital skills siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar negeri 4 Manggungjaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriftip kualitatif. Jenis penelitian studi kasus deskriptif Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan hasil penelitian observasi dan wawancara di lapangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswa sekolah dasar dalam lingkup Desa Manggungjaya, Kecamatan Rajapolah, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan membuat kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini literasi digital siswa mengenai lanskap digital yaitu bahwa motif siswa dalam menggunakan handphone berbeda untuk menunjang pembelajaran, literasi digital skills siswa mesin pencarian informasi yang paling sering digunakan google, dan literasi digital skills siswa mengenai aplikasi percakapan dan media sosial yang sering digunakan oleh siswa yaitu WhatsApp dan Tiktok. Dengan demikian dari ketiga indikator dikatakan literasi digital skills siswa sekolah dasar negeri 4 Manggungjaya terkategorikan dengan baik, dilihat dari pengetahuan dasar mengenai lanskap digital internet dan dunia maya, pengetahuan dasar mengenai mesin pencarian informasi cara penggunaan dan cara pemilihan data siswa menggunakan google, pengetahuan dasar mengenai aplikasi percakapan media sosial siswa menggunakan Whatsapp dan Tiktok. Kata Kunci: digital skills, literasi, siswa, literasi digital skills DIGITAL LITERATURE SKILLS OF STUDENTS OF CLASS 5 SDN 4 MANGGGUNGJAYA ABSTRACT In this millennial era, media is one of the necessities in everyday life among elementary school children. The use of students' digital devices must be accompanied by digital literacy, especially digital skills or individual abilities in knowing, understanding, and using ICT hardware and software as well as digital operating systems. Viewed from the point of view of elementary school student education, this is an important role in using digital devices for the learning process. This study aims to determine the level of digital literacy skills of 5th grade elementary school 4 Manggungjaya students. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive. This type of research is a descriptive case study. This research activity was carried out with the results of observational research and interviews in the field. The subjects in this study were elementary school students within the scope of Manggungjaya Village, Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java. Data collection techniques used in this study, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and making conclusions and levers. The results of this study were students' digital literacy regarding digital landscapes, namely that students' motives in using mobile phones were different to support learning, students' digital literacy skills were the search engine information most frequently used by Google, and digital literacy skills regarding applications regarding conversation and social media that were often used by students. namely WhatsApp and Tiktok. Thus, from the three knowledges, it is said that the digital literacy skills of elementary school students at Manggungjaya 4 are well categorized, judging from basic knowledge about the digital internet and virtual world landscapes, basic information search engines, how to use and how to select student data, basic knowledge about conversational applications. students' social media using Whatsapp and Tiktok.
