Abstract

Masa remaja cenderung lebih banyak beraktifitas dibandingkan dengan orang dewasa. Para remaja cenderung mengalami dehidrasi atau kekurangan cairan tubuh yang disebabkan oleh aktifitas yang dilakukan oleh kelompok usia remaja. Mayoritas remaaja mengalami dehidrasi karena sebagian besar remaja kurang minum sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Meskipun begitu, masih banyak remaja yang belum mengetahui akan pentingnya minum air mineral sehingga remaja rawan terkena dehidrasi. Motion Graphic merupakan salah satu media yang efektif untuk menyampaikan informasi dengan menarik. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merancang video motion graphic mengenai pentingnya minum air mineral. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui rancangan motion graphic sebagai media edukasi pentingnya minum air mineral bagi remaja dan mengetahui hasil uji coba terhadap motion graphic sebagai media edukasi pentingnya air mineral bagi remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development dengan model N.J. Manson. Model ini memiliki 5 tahap pengembangan, yaitu kepekaan terhadap masalah (Awareness of Problem), penentuan saran (Suggestion), pengembangan (Development), evaluasi (Evaluation), dan kesimpulan (Conclusion). Setelah produk motion graphic dirancang, dilakukan validasi kepada ahli materi dan media kemudian diuji coba kepada 30 remaja untuk melihat kelayakan dari motion graphic. Skor yang didapat dari validasi materi adalah 92,5%, ahli media 86%, dan respon uji coba 85%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa motion graphic yang dirancang sangat layak untuk media edukasi pentingnya minum air mineral. ------ Adolescents tend to have more activities than adults. They tend to experience dehydration or lack of body fluids caused by activities teenagers usually do. The majority of teenagers are dehydrated because teenagers do not drink according to their needs. Therefore, they are still do not know about the importance of drinking mineral water so teenagers are prone to dehydration. Motion graphic is one of effective media to vonvey information in an interesting way. The researcher designed a motion graphic video abot the importance of drinking mineral water. The purpose of this study is to determine the design of motion graphic as an educational media for the importance of drinking mineral water for adolescents and to fine out the result of trials on motion graphic as an educational media for the importance of mineral water for adolescents. This study uses Design and Development method with N.J. Manson’s model. This model has 5 stages of development, awareness of problem, suggestion, development, evaluation, conclusion. After motion graphic was designed, it was validated by nutritionist and media expert and than tested to 30 adolescents to see the feasibility of motion graphic. The score obtained from nutritionist expert is 92,5%, media expert is 86%, and from respondents is 85%. It can be conclude that the motion graphic design are very appropriate for educaitional media on the importance of drinking mineral water.
