Abstract
Penelitian ini berfokus mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi pembelajaran pada topik penjernihan air sebagai bahan belajar mandiri peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan penggunaan Virtual Field Trip untuk peserta didik sekolah dasar, merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi Virtual Field Trip berbasis ESD pada topik penjernihan air di sekolah dasar, menguraikan hasil uji coba produk aplikasi Virtual Field Trip berbasis ESD pada topik penjernihan air di sekolah dasar, serta mendeskripsikan produk akhir aplikasi Virtual Field Trip pada topik penjernihan air. Penelitian ini didasari atas kurang tersedianya media belajar untuk mempelajari penjernihan air di sekolah dasar, serta beberapa kendala di lapangan untuk melaksanakan field trip ke fasilitas penjernihan air akibat keterbatasan biaya, jarak, maupun waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design-Based Research (DBR) yang dikemukakan oleh Reeves. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, focus group discussion (FGD), dan angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk aplikasi Android bernama VFT Airku sebagai bahan belajar mandiri peserta didik yang berisi video Virtual Field Trip, e-LKPD, e-Modul, dan soal tes berbasis ESD. This study focuses on developing a learning application on the topic of water purification as an independent learning material for students. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Virtual Field Trips for elementary school students, to design and develop an ESD-based Virtual Field Trip application on the topic of water purification in elementary schools, to describe the results of product trials for an ESD-based Virtual Field Trip application on the topic of water purification in schools. basis, as well as describing the final product of the Virtual Field Trip application on the topic of water purification. This research is based on the lack of availability of learning media to study water purification in elementary schools, as well as several obstacles in the field to carry out field trips to water purification facilities due to limited costs, distance, and time. This study uses the Design-Based Research (DBR) method proposed by Reeves. Data was collected through documentation studies, observation, interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and questionnaires. This research resulted in an Android application product called VFT Airku as a student self-study material containing Virtual Field Trip videos, e-LKPD, e-Modules, and ESD-based test questions.
