Abstract

Kemampuan menulis permulaan pada anak usia dini bersifat mekanik yang meliputi aspek perkembangan motorik halus dan bahasa (keaksaraan). Kemampuan menulis pada kelompok B di TK seharusnya sudah dapat membuat tulisan dan terbaca meskipun dalam bentuk dan segi penulisan belum terlalu baik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan terhadap subjek penelitian yaitu A, A memiliki hambatan dalam kemampuan menulis permulaannya, A belum dapat menulis bentuk huruf dengan jelas, Huruf yang A tulis tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diinstruksikan guru dan kerapkali posisi hurufnya terbalik sehingga tidak terbaca. A juga belum dapat memegang alat tulis dengan benar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran hambatan dalam kemampuan menulis permulaan yang dialami anak, mendeskripsikan penyebab hambatan dalam kemampuan menulis yang dialami anak, dan mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dan guru sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam kemampuan menulis permulaan yang dialami anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu anak laki-laki berusia 6,5 tahun dengan inisial A, ibu dari subjek dan guru kelas B3 di TK Putra II Serang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian terkait gambaran hambatan dalam kemampuan menulis permulaan yang dialami anak yaitu belum dapat menggunakan alat tulis dengan benar dan belum dapat menulis namanya sendiri. Penyebab hambatan menulis permulaan yang dialami anak yaitu adanya gangguan motorik, gangguan emosi, pengajaran orang tua maupun guru serta motivasi anak. Adapun peran orang tua dan guru sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam kemampuan menulis permulaan anak yaitu dengan memberikan semangat berupa nyanyian, motivasi, bahan ajar, evaluasi pembelajaran, dan dukungan lingkungan sekitar anak. The ability to write early in early childhood is mechanical which includes aspects of fine motor development and language (literacy). The writing ability in group B in kindergarten should be able to make writing and be legible even though in form and in terms of writing it is not too good. Based on the results of observations made on research subjects, namely A, A has obstacles in the ability to write initially, A has not been able to write the letter form clearly, the letters that A wrote are not in accordance with what was instructed by the teacher and often the position of the letters is reversed so that they are not legible. A also has not been able to hold a writing utensil properly. The purpose of this study is to describe the obstacles in early writing skills experienced by children, describe the causes of obstacles in writing skills experienced by children, and describe the role of parents and teachers as an effort to overcome obstacles in early writing skills experienced by children. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects consisted of a 6.5-year-old boy with the initials A, the mother of subject A and a B3 class teacher at TK Putra II Serang. Data collection techniques carried out in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study related to the description of the obstacles in the initial writing ability experienced by children, namely they have not been able to use stationery properly and have not been able to write their own names. The causes of early writing barriers experienced by children are motor disorders, emotional disorders, teaching parents and teachers and children's motivation. The role of parents and teachers as an effort to overcome obstacles in children's early writing skills is to provide encouragement in the form of songs, motivation, teaching materials, evaluation of learning, and support for the environment around children.
