Abstract

ABSTRAK Dyta Adynda Hernanto. Efektivitas Play Therapy bagi Anak yang Mengalami PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Pembimbing I: Prof. Dr. Juntika Nurihsan, M.Pd., dan Pembimbing II: Dr. Nandang Budiman, M.Si. Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling. Program Magister. Anak yang menjadi korban bencana rawan mengalami PTSD, sehingga perlu penanganan agar tidak menghambat perkembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektifitas Play Therapy melalui bimbingan kelompok dalam menurunkan gejala PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 14 siswa (7 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 7 siswa kelompok kontrol) yang dipilih berdasarkan pada siswa yang memiliki gejala PTSD berat. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah PSS-I (PSTD Symptom Scale-Interview). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji perbedaan Mann Withney-U dengan membandingkan skor rerata pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efikasi Play Therapy berdasarkan N Gain berada pada kategori sedang, artinya Play Therapy cukup feasibel dalam menurunkan gejala PTSD. Children who are victims of disasters are prone to PTSD, so treatment is needed so as not to hinder their development. This study aims to determine the efficacy of Play Therapy through group guidance in reducing PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) symptoms. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 14 students (7 students in the experimental group and 7 students in the control group) who were selected based on students who had severe PTSD symptoms. The research instrument using PSS-I (PSTD Symptom Scale-Interview). The data were analyzed with the Mann Withney-U difference test by comparing the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group. The results showed that the efficacy of Play Therapy based on N Gain was in the moderate category, it is mean that Play Therapy was sufficient feasible in reducing PTSD symptoms.
