Abstract

Kemendikbud menerapkan program terbaru berupa Assesmen Nasional, salah satunya Assesmen Kompetensi Minimum sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran pengganti Ujian Nasional yang mengukur penguasaan literasi dan numerasi dengan merujuk pada hasil penilaian standar internasional tentang pendidikan seperti PISA (Programme for International Student Assesment). Hasil main survey menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia terletak diurutan 6 negara terakhir dari 78 negara yang mengikuti PISA tahun 2018. Rendahnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya mengoptimalkan literasi dan numerasi pada jenjang sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre-Eksperimen dengan desain (one group pretest-posttest desain). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas IV Sekolah dasar. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument penelitian berupa wawancara kepada pihak sekolah yaitu guru dan siswa untuk mengetahui AKM, literasi dan numerasi secara umum di sekolah dasar, dan soal tes dengan bentuk pilihan ganda, pilihan ganda kompleks dan uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa saat pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan skor rata-rata sebesar 12,17% di mana hasil uji hipotesisnya menunjukkan angka signifikansi 0,000 yang dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest siswa pada kemampuan literasi. Selanjutnya kemampuan numerasi siswa saat pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan skor rata-rata sebesar 31,59% di mana hasil uji hipotesisnya menunjukkan angka signifikansi 0,000 yang dapat diarikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest siswa pada kemampuan numerasi. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada siswa sebagai pengenalan awal atau gambaran dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan Assesmen Kompetensi Minimum di kelas V. Penggunaan soal tes berbasis Assesmen Kompetensi Minimum ini dapat dibiasakan agar kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa semakin meningkat. The Ministry of Education and Culture implements the latest program in the form of a National Assessment, one of which is the Minimum Competency Assessment as a learning evaluation tool in lieu of the National Examination which measures literacy and numeracy mastery by referring to the results of international standard assessments on education such as PISA (Program for International Student Assessment). The results of the main survey show that Indonesia is in the last 6 countries out of 78 countries that participated in the 2018 PISA. The low literacy and numeracy skills indicate the importance of optimizing literacy and numeracy at the school level to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This study uses the Pre-Experimental method by design (one group pretest-posttest design). The research sample consisted of 29 elementary school fourth grade students. The research data was collected using research instruments in the form of interviews with the school, namely teachers and students to determine the AKM, literacy and numeracy in general in elementary schools, and test questions in the form of multiple choice, complex multiple choice and descriptions to measure students' literacy and numeracy abilities. The results showed that students' literacy skills during the pretest and posttest experienced an average score increase of 12.17% where the results of the hypothesis test showed a significance number of 0.000 which means that there is a significant average increase between the results of the pretest and posttest of students on the ability literacy. Furthermore, students' numeracy skills during the pretest and posttest experienced an average score increase of 31.59% where the results of the hypothesis test showed a significance number of 0.000 which means that there was a significant average increase between the students' pretest and posttest results in numeracy skills. This research has implications for students as an initial introduction or description in implementing the Minimum Competency Assessment policy in class V. The use of test questions based on this Minimum Competency Assessment can be familiarized, so that students' literacy and numeracy abilities will increase.
