Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS model PjBL untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi laju reaksi berbasis konteks pembuatan pestisida nabati. Dalam penelitian ini pestisida nabati terbuat dari kombinasi cabai rawit dan daun mimba. Tahap penelitian meliputi optimasi percobaan pembuatan pestisida nabati, pengembangan LKS, uji kelayakan LKS, dan uji keterpahaman LKS. Optimasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi optimum dalam pembuatan pestisida nabati dari kombinasi cabai rawit dan daun mimba sebagai dasar penyusunan prosedur praktikum laju reaksi pada LKS yang dikembangkan. Berdasarkan optimasi yang dilakukan, diperoleh informasi terkait faktor yang mempengaruhi laju reaksi fermentasi pembuatan pestisida, yaitu faktor konsentrasi sampel, faktor perbandingan konsentrasi sampel, dan faktor konsentrasi EM4. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif evaluatif melalui desain penelitian development research tipe pertama, yaitu design, development, dan evaluation. LKS yang telah dikembangkan diuji kelayakannya oleh 2 orang pakar dan 3 orang guru kimia, dilanjutkan dengan uji keterpahaman LKS dengan melibatkan 20 orang siswa dari salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Cimahi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji kelayakan LKS model PjBL berkategori sangat layak. Hasil uji keterpahaman sebesar 94,76%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori hampir seluruhnya mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Laju Reaksi, LKS, Model PjBL, Pestisida Nabati Abstract: This study aims to dproduce a PjBL model worksheet to develop student’s critical thinking skills in context-based reaction rate for making natural pesticides. In this study, natural pesticides are made from a combination of cayenne pepper and neem leaves. The research phase includes optimization of the procedure for making natural pesticides, worksheet development, worksheet feasibility test, and worksheet understanding test. Optimization was carried out to determine the optimum conditions in the manufacture of natural pesticides from combination of cayenne pepper and neem leaves as the basis for preparing the reaction rate practicum prosedure in the developed worksheet. Based on the optimization, information was obtained regarding the factors that affect the rate of the pesticides fermentation reaction, namely the sample concentration factor, the sample concentration comparison factor, and the EM4 concentration factor. The research method used is descriptives evaluative through the first type of development research research design, namely design, development, and evaluation. The worksheet that has been developed is tested for feasibility by 2 experts and 3 chemistry teacher, followed by a worksheet understanding test involving 20 students from one of senior high schools in Cimahi. The results showed that the PjBL model worksheet feasibility test was categorized as very feasible. The results of understanding test is 94,76%. This shows that the worksheets developed are included in the category almost entirely easy to understand by students.
