Abstract

Pada penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai penerapan model PjBL untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam mata pelajaran IPA sekolah dasar, yang dimana penelitian ini dilakukan disalah satu SDN di Kecamatan Leles dengan saampel kelas III dan kelas V. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas III dan kelas V dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran serta keefektifan penggunaan model PjBL dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas III dan kelas V. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis faktorial eksperimen yaitu dengan melihat dua kelas. Dari analisis data yang telah disusun memiliki hasil bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas V dan kelas III meningkat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL dibandingkan dengan kelas III dan kelas V yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan mata pelajaran IPA, serta keefektifan penggunaan model PjBL di kelas V maupun di kelas III III memiliki hasil efektif digunakan dengan beberapa tambahan untuk kelas III yakni pendidik dapat pengembangkan model pembelajaran PjBLnya sesuai dengan kondisi kelas serta kognitif peserta didik. Maka implikasi pada penelitian ini adalah model PjBL ini dapat membuat peserta didik lebih aktif serta kreatif selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Hal inilah yang membuat peserta didik dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikirnya. Rekomendasi dari peneliti adalah sebagai pendidik pada model PjBL ini hanya menjadi fasilitator, motivator serta membimbing peserta didik dalam pembelajarannya. ----- In this study, we will discuss the application of the PjBL model to improve critical thinking skills in elementary school science subjects, where this research was conducted in one of the SDN in Leles District with samples of class III and class V. This study also aims to see the improvement of critical thinking skills. class III and class V students using the learning model and the effectiveness of using the PjBL model in improving critical thinking skills in class III and class V. The method in this study used a quantitative method with the type of factorial experiment, namely by looking at two classes. From the data analysis that has been compiled, the results show that critical thinking skills in class V and class III increase by using the PjBL learning model compared to class III and class V using conventional learning models with science subjects, as well as the effectiveness of using PjBL models in class V and in class III III has effective results used with some additions for class III, namely educators can develop their PjBL learning models according to class conditions and students' cognitive. So the implication of this research is that the PjBL model can make students more active and creative during the learning process. This allows students to develop their thinking skills. The recommendation from the researcher is that as educators in the PjBL model, they only become facilitators, motivators and guide students in their learning.
