Abstract

Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu dari empat keterampilan berbahasa yang perlu dikuasai oleh pembelajar bahasa Jerman. Possessivpronomen merupakan salah satu tata bahasa yang perlu dikuasai dalam bahasa Jerman. Dari hasil observasi, menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menuangkan ide menjadi sebuah kalimat dalam bahasa Jerman. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya penguasaan tata bahasa Jerman siswa salah satunya ialah kurangnya penguasaan Possessivpronomen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan siswa dalam penguasaan Possessivpronomen. (2) kemampuan siswa dalam menulis karangan deskripsi bahasa Jerman, (3) hubungan antara penguasaan Possessivpronomen dengan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi bahasa Jerman, (4) kontribusi penguasaan Possessivpronomen terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi bahasa Jerman. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 12 Bandung dan sampel dari penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas XI MIPA 6 sebanyak 36 siswa. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes penguasaan Possessivpronomen dan tes kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi bahasa Jerman. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi. Setelah data dianalisis diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) nilai rata-rata penguasaan Possessivpronomen adalah 79,36, (2) nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi bahasa Jerman adalah 80,03, (3) nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,339 menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara penguasaan Possessivpronomen dengan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi, (4) kontribusi variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 11,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarakan agar siswa memperbanyak penguasaan tata bahasa salah satunya Possessivpronomen, agar dapat lebih baik dalam keterampilan menulis. Writing skill is one of the four language skills that German learners need to master. It is necessary to have good grammar to master the four aspects of the language. Possessivpronomen is one of the grammars learning in German. Based on the observations, there are still many students who find it difficult to put ideas into a sentence in German. This is due to the lack of mastery of German grammar, one of which is the lack of mastery of Possessivpronomen. The purpose of this research was to find out: (1) students’ ability in mastering Possessivpronomen; (2) students’ ability in writing descriptive essays in German. (3) the relationship between Possessivpronomen mastery and descriptive essay writing skills in German,and (4) the contribution of Possessiv pronomen mastery to descriptive essay writing skills in German. The participants in this research were all students in class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Bandung, and the samples consisted of 36 students in class XI MIPA 6. The mastery Possessivpronomen test and the ability to write descriptive essays in German provided the data for this study. This study uses correlation analysis and regression analysis. After the data were analyzed, the following results were obtained: (1) the average value of mastery Possessivpronomen was 79.36, (2) the average value of the ability to write descriptive essays in German was 80.03, (3) the correlation coefficient value of 0.339 indicated that there was the relationship between Possessivpronomen and descriptive essay writing skills, (4) the contribution of the X variable to the Y variable is 11.5%. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that students should increase their mastery of grammar, one of which is Possessivpronomen, in order to be better at writing skills.
