Abstract

ABSTRAK Pola asuh orang tua merupakan faktor yang mampu mempengaruhi capaian prestasi belajar siswa. Prestasi belajar siswa merupakan hasil capaian siswa selama proses belajar dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola asuh orang tua, prestasi belajar siswa dan hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas V SDN 5 Nagrikaler Kabupaten Purwakarta Tahun Ajaran 2021-2022. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode survei pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 65 siswa, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling total. Pengumpulan data melalui angket, dokumentasi (nilai PAT siswa semester genap) dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh: 1) Pola asuh orang tua siswa dalam kategori sedang dengan mayoritas menerapkan pola asuh demokratis, 2) Prestasi belajar siswa berada dalam kategori sedang dengan mayoritas siswa memenuhi KKM dengan rata-rata nilai PAT sebesar 77,06, 3) Uji korelasi Product Moment diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,028. Kesimpulan penelitian terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 5 Nagrikaler dengan tingkat hubungan rendah. Kata kunci: pola asuh orang tua, prestasi belajar. ----- ABSTRACT Parenting style is a factor that can influence student achievement. Student achievement is the result of student achievement during the learning process within a certain period of time. The purpose of this study was to determine the parenting style of parents, student achievement and the relationship between parenting styles and learning achievement of elementary school students. This research was conducted in the fifth grade of SDN 5 Nagrikaler, Purwakarta Regency, in the 2021-2022 Academic Year. This research method is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The research sample was 65 students, the sampling technique used total sampling technique. Collecting data through questionnaires, documentation (even semester students' PAT scores) and interviews. The results of this study were obtained: 1) The parenting pattern of students' parents was in the medium category with the majority applying democratic parenting, 2) Student learning achievement was in the medium category with the majority of students fulfilling the KKM with an average PAT score of 77.06, 3) Test Product Moment correlation obtained sig value of 0.028. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant positive relationship between parenting patterns and the learning achievement of fifth grade students at SDN 5 Nagrikaler with a low level of relationship.
