Abstract

Adanya digitalisasi pada dunia pendidikan, membuat tenaga pendidik membuat berbagai inovasi. Contohnya adalah pembuatan bahan ajar berbentuk digital. Dibandingkan dengan bahan ajar konvensional, bahan ajar digital lebih diminati oleh siswa karena tidak membosankan. Selain itu, bahan ajar digital mampu memfasilitasi kegiatan belajar daring maupun luring. Dengan demikian pada penelitian ini dibuat sebuah bahan ajar digital berupa modul elektronik atau E-Modul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik e-modul matematika yang baik dan membuat e-modul matematika untuk upaya meningkatkan HOTS siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan research and development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa E-Modul pada materi transformasi geometri untuk penguatan HOTS siswa kelas IX. E-Modul yang dikembangkan dibuat berdasarkan karakteristik E-Modul matematika yang telah dibuat pada penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Berbagai penelitian tersebut telah menghasilkan E-Modul yang valid dan juga layak untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan temuan pada penelitian-penelitian tersebutlah E-modul ini dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi 2 orang ahli, E-Modul yang dikembangkan memiliki rata-rata skor 90,84%, artinya E-Modul yang dikembangkan telah “valid”. Kemudian E-Modul tersebut dinilai oleh praktisi yaitu guru dan mendapat skor kelayakan 93,98%, artinya E-modul yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria “layak” untuk digunakan. Selain itu, E-Modul diberikan kepada siswa untuk dinilai, dari hasil angket respon siswa, didapat skor 86,44%, artinya respon siswa “sangat positif” terhadap E-Modul yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan informasi mengenai pengembangan E-Modul matematika sebagai upaya peningkatan HOTS siswa SMP dan dapat bermanfaat dalam bidang pendidikan matematika, khususnya dalam pembuatan bahan ajar berbentuk E-Modul. The existence of digitalization in the world of education has made educators make various innovations. An example is the manufacture of teaching materials in digital form. Compared to conventional teaching materials, digital teaching materials are more in demand by students because they are not boring. In addition, digital teaching materials are able to facilitate online and offline learning activities. Thus, in this study, a digital teaching material was made in the form of an electronic module or E-Module. The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of good mathematics e-modules and make mathematics e-modules for efforts to improve the HOTS of junior high school students. This research is a research and development (R&D). The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of this study are in the form of an E-Module on geometry transformation material for strengthening HOTS for grade IX students. The E-Module developed is made based on the characteristics of the mathematical E-Module that has been made in previous studies. Various such studies have produced an E-Module that is valid and also worth using. It was based on the findings in these studies that this E-module was developed. Based on the validation results of 2 experts, the E-Module developed has an average score of 90.84%, meaning that the E-Module developed has been "valid". Then the E-Module is assessed by practitioners, namely teachers, and gets a feasibility score of 93.98%, meaning that the E-module developed has the criteria of "feasible" to use. In addition, the E-Module was given to students to be assessed, from the results of the student response questionnaire, a score of 86.44% was obtained, meaning that the student's response was "very positive" to the developed E-Module. The results of this study are expected to be used as information about the development of mathematics E-Modules as an effort to increase the HOTS of junior high school students and can be useful in the field of mathematics education, especially in the manufacture of teaching materials in the form of E-Modules.
