Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan dalam membaca siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Nagri Tengah berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Tujuan penelitian adalah memperbaiki pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe creative problem solving dengan berbantuan video komik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar pada kelas IV. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengertian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 26 orang. Hasil penelitian, adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru pada siklus 1, siklus II dan siklus III dalam pembelajaran sehingga siswa mulai menunjukkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Kemudian, ketika guru menceritakan kembali cerita dongeng pada video komik, siswa dapat menyimak cerita dongeng dan memperhatikan guru saat menceritakan kembali teks cerita dongeng. Dengan begitu, hasil belajar siswa pun menunjukkan peningkatan dengan perolehan presentase siklus 1 sebesar 74%, siswa tuntas berjumlah 10 orang dan siswa tidak tuntas berjumlah 16 orang. Pada siklus 2 memperoleh persentase 82% siswa tuntas berjumlah 16 orang dan tidak tuntas 10 orang. Pada siklus 3 memperoleh persentase 90% suruh hasil belajar siswa kelas IV peningkatan dan telah tuntas seluruhnya. Ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe creative problem solving dengan berbantuan media video komik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar kelas IV pada pokok bahasan dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia mampu memperbaiki aktivitas belajar siswa pada proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. ----- This research was motivated by the low activity of fourth grade students at SDN 3 Nagri Tengah based on the results of observations made by researchers. The aim of the research is to improve learning so that it can increase students' activities and learning outcomes using cooperative learning models of creative problem solving type with the help of video comics to improve reading comprehension skills of elementary school students in grade IV. The type of research used is the notion of classroom action with 26 research subjects. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in teacher activity in cycle 1, cycle II and cycle III in learning so that students began to show reading comprehension skills. Then, when the teacher retells the fairy tale in the comic video, students can listen to the fairy tale and pay attention to the teacher when retelling the text of the fairy tale. That way, student learning outcomes also showed an increase with the acquisition of a percentage of cycle 1 of 74%, 10 students completed and 16 students did not complete. In cycle 2, the percentage of 82% students completed was 16 people and 10 students did not complete. In cycle 3, the percentage is 90%, and the fourth grade students' learning outcomes have been increased and have been completed entirely. This proves that the application of the cooperative learning model of creative problem solving type with the help of comic video media to improve the reading comprehension skills of fourth grade elementary school students on the subject of Indonesian language learning is able to improve student learning activities in the learning process so as to improve student learning outcomes.
