Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas mengenai media pop-up book untuk mencegah perilaku bullying pada anak usia dini. Mencegah perilaku bullying perlu dilakukan pada anak usia 4–6 tahun yang mana itu adalah usia-usia awal anak dapat melakukan perundungan antar sesama temannya, bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying yaitu bullying physical (fisik), bullying verbal (lisan), bullying relasional (pengabaian). Melalui media pop-up book ini cukup efektif dalam mencegah perilaku bullying pada anak dengan bermain dan mendengarkan cerita pada media pop-up book. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan munculnya masalah mengenai perilaku teman sebaya di Desa Kaliwadas. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media pop-up book dalam mencegah perilaku bullying pada anak usia dini di Desa Kaliwadas Kecamatan Purwadadi, Kabupaten Subang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Single Subject Research (SSR). Desain yang digunakan menggunakan desain A-B-A’. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini berjumlah empat anak di Desa Kaliwadas yang memiliki masalah dalam perilaku teman sebayanya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, menunjukan adanya perubahan perilaku anak. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil observasi anak pada setiap fase. Setelah dilakukan perlakuan dengan mendengarkan cerita pada media pop-up book menghasilkan perbedaan sebelum dilakukan perlakukan tersebut. Adanya perubahan perilaku setelah dilakukan treatment mendengarkan cerita pop-up book. Perkembangan perilaku anak mulai mengalami perubahan dibandingkan sebelum melakukan perlakuan. Kata Kunci: Bullying, pop-up book, anak usia dini ----- ABSTRACT This thesis discusses pop-up book media to prevent bullying behavior in early childhood. Preventing bullying behavior needs to be done in children aged 4–6 years where it is the early ages of children can bully between their peers forms of bullying behavior are physical bullying, verbal (oral) bullying, relational bullying (abandonment). Through the media of this pop-up book is quite effective in preventing bullying behavior in children by playing and listening to stories in pop-up book media. This research was motivated by the emergence of problems regarding the behavior of peers in Kaliwadas Village. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of pop-up book media in preventing bullying behavior in early childhood in Kaliwadas Village, Purwadadi District, Subang Regency. The type of research used in this study is Single Subject Research (SSR). The design used uses the A-B-A' design. The subjects involved in this study were four children in Kaliwadas Village who had problems in the behavior of their peers. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows a change in children's behavior. This can be seen from the results of children's observations in each phase. After treatment by listening to stories in the pop-up book media, it makes a difference before the treatment is carried out. There was a change in behavior after listening to pop-up book stories. The child's behavioral development begins to change compared to before treatment. Keywords: Bullying, pop-up books, early childhood
