Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan keterampilan proses sains untuk usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat lebih dalam mengenai keterampilan proses sains anak yang dapat terjalin melalui metode eksperimen pada anak Kelompok B disalah satu TK di Purwakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu : tahap perencanaan (planning), tahap pelaksanaan tindakan (action), tahap pengamatan (observing), dan tahap refleksi (reflection). Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model siklus sistem spiral yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu : lembar observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 anak Kelompok B disalah satu TK di Purwakarta, yang terdiri dari 4 orang perempuan dan 6 orang laki-laki. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kondisi awal kemampuan keterampilan proses sains dengan persentase 39,07 % kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB) dan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan proses sains di siklus I dengan skor 67,72 % dengan kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan di siklus II dengan persentase 95,4 % dengan kriteria Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan kegiatan eksperimen ini dapat mengembangkan keterampian proses sains. This study aims to take a deeper look at children's science process skills that can be established through experimental methods in Group B children at one of the kindergartens in Purwakarta. This research is Classroom Action Research. The stages carried out are: the planning stage (planning), the action implementation stage (action), the observation stage (observation), and the reflection stage (reflection). The research model used is a spiral system cycle model developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The instruments used in this study are: observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were 10 children of Group B at one of the kindergartens in Purwakarta, consisting of 4 women and 6 men. The method of data collection is carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The initial condition of science process skills ability with a percentage of 39.07% of the Criteria begins to Develop (MB) and there is an increase in science process skills in cycle I with a score of 67.72% with the criteria of Developing According to Expectations (BSH) and in cycle II with a percentage of 95.4% with the criteria of Developing Very Well (BSB).
