Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang masih rendah pada era revolusi 4.0, sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tersebut, PBL disebut sebagai model yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, namun menurut beberapa penelitian terdahulu, PBL belum dapat optimal meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis salah satu alasannya dalam penggunaan waktu, sehingga dibutuhkah sebuah model lain yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan PBL agar dapat optimal, flipped classroom dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif model yang dapat diintegrasikan karena dapat mengoptimalkan waktu. Untuk membuktikan hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan penerapan integrasi problem based learning dan flipped classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 61 siswa kelas X TKJ di SMKN Sukatani. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan; 1) Desain pembelajaran dengan integrasi PBL dan flipped classroom terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu pra-class, in-class dan postt-class. 3 fase tersebut diintegrasikan dengan langkah – langkah PBL, 2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor rata – rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas yang diterapkan integrasi PBL dan flipped classroom dengan kelas yang diterapkan PBL saja, 3) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara sebelum penerapan integrasi PBL dan flipped classroom dengan setelah diterapkannya integrasi PBL dan flipped classroom. Untuk penelitian berikutnya diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan rujukan. ----- This research is motivated by students' critical thinking skills which are still low in the 4.0 revolution era, so a learning model is needed that can improve these thinking skills, PBL is referred to as a model that can improve critical thinking skills, but according to several previous studies, PBL has not been able to optimally improve One of the reasons for critical thinking is the use of time, so we need another model that can be integrated with PBL so that it can be optimal, flipped classroom can be an alternative model that can be integrated because it can optimize time. To prove this, it is necessary to conduct research that aims to determine the improvement of critical thinking skills by implementing the integration of problem based learning and flipped classroom. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 61 students of class X TKJ at SMKN Sukatani. The instrument used in this study was a test given before and after the learning was carried out. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that; 1) Learning design with PBL integration and flipped classroom consists of three phases, namely pre-class, in-class and postt-class. The 3 phases are integrated with PBL steps, 2) There is a significant difference in the average score of students' critical thinking skills in classes that are implemented with PBL integration and flipped classrooms with classes that apply PBL only, 3) There is an increase in students' critical thinking skills between before the implementation of the integration of PBL and flipped classroom with after the implementation of the integration of PBL and flipped classroom. For future research, it is hoped that this research can be used as a reference material.
