Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena terbatasnya media pembelajaran matematika di sekolah. Hal tersebut menjadi salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan kurangnya motivasi dan semangat belajar siswa sehingga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan media BIMIMA (Bianglala Mini Matematika) pada materi bilangan pecahan kelas IV Sekolah Dasar menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul di sekolah. Media BIMIMA (Bianglala Mini Matematika) diharapkan mampu membantu meningkatkan motivasi, semangat belajar siswa, dan membantu siswa dalam memahami materi pecahan. Selain itu, media BIMIMA (Bianglala Mini Matematika) ini dapat membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi pecahan yang bersifat abstrak kepada siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran bianglala pada materi pecahan kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Sehingga menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa media pembelajaran yang layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika pada materi pecahan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research & development) dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, angket respon siswa, dan validasi ahli. Validasi media pembelajaran dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media BIMIMA (Bianglala Mini Matematika) yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi syarat untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil validasi para ahli media BIMIMA (Bianglala Mini Matematika) telah mencapai kriteria sangat layak. Sedangkan hasil angket respon siswa, telah mencapai kriteria rata-rata pada kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan angket respon siswa, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media BIMIMA (Bianglala Mini Matematika) layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada materi bilangan pecahan kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. This is one of the factors that causes a lack of motivation and enthusiasm for student learning so that it affects student learning outcomes. The development of the BIMIMA (Mini Mathematics Ferris wheel) media in the material of fractions for grade IV Elementary School is one solution to overcome problems that arise in schools. The BIMIMA (Mini Mathematics Ferris wheel) media is expected to be able to help increase students' motivation, enthusiasm for learning, and assist students in understanding fractions. In addition, the BIMIMA (Mini Mathematics Ferris wheel) media can help teachers in conveying abstract fraction material to students. Therefore, this study aims to develop a learning media for the Ferris wheel in grade IV elementary school fractions. So as to produce a product in the form of learning media that is suitable for use in mathematics learning activities on fractional material in grade IV Elementary School. This research uses research & development method with ADDIE model. Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observation, documentation, student response questionnaires, and expert validation. The validation of learning media is carried out by media experts and material experts. The results of this study indicate that the BIMIMA (Mini Mathematics Ferris wheel) media developed has met the requirements for use in learning activities. Based on the results of the validation of the media experts, BIMIMA (Bianglala Mini Mathematics) has reached the very feasible criteria. While the results of the student response questionnaire, have reached the average criteria in the very good category. Based on the results of the validation and student response questionnaires, it can be concluded that the BIMIMA (Mini Mathematics Ferris wheel) media is suitable for use in learning activities on fractional number material for grade IV Elementary School.
